Fixing or setting makeup is highly necessary, we all want to look perfect even post dinner. But getting makeup fixing spray or powder completely depends on your skin type. Those with dry skin should go with sprays, and the ones with oily skin should go for setting powder. Neither of them comes cheap, so, here I am today with a DIY Makeup Fixing spray, which will make you forget all those high end and costly makeup Fixing sprays. Things You Will Need :
- Rose water
- Any Spray Bottle
- A table spoon
- Measure one table spoon of glycerin into a bowl. Use little or more according to your skin type.
- Add three table spoons of water. You could use boiled, purified or mineral water. As you like.
- Now add half table spoon of rose water. This one step is optional; I add rose water to add some fragrance and also rose water acts as a wonderful toner.
- Mix it all, pour it into spray bottle, and shake it well. And Tada! Makeup fixing spray is ready to go.
You could use this one before applying foundation to get that pretty dewy look, or you could use it to refresh your makeup without washing it off!
Also make sure not to use this spray for more than a week, prepare a new batch after a week since this spray has no preservatives in it, it may turn rancid. Also, try keeping it refrigerated for best results.
And if you girls want to try another version of this DIY fixing spray, just replace glycerin with aloe-vera gel. And mix with water in the same ratio, i.e. 1:3 aloe-vera to water.
