How to make DIY Earring

I love doing DIY so this time my diy is about “how to make earring”.  Since it is Independence Day I thought of taking it as theme and thus I am making earring with three colors i.e. orange, white and green. So, without any further discussion let’s begin the tutorial.

Things you will need:

• Orange, white and green ribbons
• Scissor
• Matchstick
• Earring Hooks

Step 1: Cut ribbons according to your liking (how much length you prefer for your earrings to be). First cut biggest ribbon like I have done with white one and then cut green ribbon which is 2 inch shorter than white. Finally cut the orange one also which will be 2 inches shorter than green ribbon. See image to understand better. 🙂

Step2: Now take matchstick and burn corners of the ribbon so that the threads get trim and they will not come out now.

Step3: Fold the ribbon like I have done because we are going to stick it. Fold all the three ribbons like this only, see image to understand what I’m saying.

Step4: Now stitch all the three ribbons together so that they do not overlap each other and stay intact. You can also fix them with the help of glue.. Here I have used glue.

Step 5: Now make a hole in the ribbon with the help of sharp tool or scissor, be careful while doing this step and please don’t hurt yourself.

Step6: After you have done the hole, insert your earring hook in the ribbon and tada you’re done….. do the 6 steps again for other earring too.
