Facial at Home Step 1 : Cleansing

Ingredients –

  • Raw Milk

How to do?

Take some raw milk in a bowl and soak a cotton ball in it. Use the cotton ball to wipe your skin thoroughly.

Let the milk stay on the skin for 5-10 minutes and then wash it off with plain water. This is first step of our facial at home with all natural ingredients.

Benefits –

Raw milk acts as an excellent natural cleanser for our skin. And that’s why, we have chosen this for the first step of our facial at home.

Dirt and dust build up creates a layer on the skin and make it look dark. Raw milk helps to remove the layer of impurities from the skin as well as draw out the gunk from the skin pores to leave you with clean and clear skin.

Raw milk is a great source of lactic acid, which belongs to the AHA family. Lactic acid can exfoliate the skin wonderfully and remove the impurities. It also helps to lighten pigmentation, thus making the skin even toned and glowing.

Along with that, lactic acid also provides a boost of moisturization and hydration, to get rid of dark, dull and patchy skin.

Raw milk comes with excellent moisturization benefits as well. Regular use of milk helps to restore soft, glowing and supple skin.

Milk can reach deep in to the skin layers, nourish the skin and repair skin damage from within, thanks to its high amount of vitamins, minerals as well as proteins.

Milk is rich in vitamin A, which helps to moisturize the skin and also boosts new cell growth to make the skin healthy and even toned.

Vitamin B6 in milk also helps to heal dry skin, whereas vitamin B12 is effective in lightening skin discoloration.

Biotin or vitamin B7 is another important nutrient for healthy skin. Lack of biotin makes our skin dry. Being enriched with biotin, milk helps to fulfill the biotin deficiency and heal dry skin effectively.

Milk also contains vitamin D, which is enriched with anti oxidant benefits. It improves collagen synthesis in the skin and restores smooth, plump as well as glowing skin.

Along with vitamins, milk is rich in various minerals. These minerals are also highly beneficial for healthy skin.

Sun exposure causes a lot of skin damages, including skin darkening. Milk contains selenium, that helps to protect the skin against sun damage. Magnesium present in milk is very effective in slowing down the skin aging.

Calcium is another vital mineral for our skin. The epidermis layer is mostly made of calcium.

Furthermore, calcium comes with anti oxidant benefits. Lack of calcium makes skin dry and dehydrated. Milk, with its high calcium content, helps to restore soft, supple as well as naturally glowing skin.

Vitamin C is highly beneficial for skin brightening. Melanin build up can make our skin look dark. Vitamin C can reduce melanin production, thus lightening and brightening our complexion.

Vitamin C actually inhibits the production of tyrosinase enzyme, which directly influences melanin production. Thus it decreases the level of melanin produced by the melanocyte skin cells and enhances our complexion.

Vitamin C is enriched with anti oxidant as well as anti inflammatory benefits, which help with acne treatment. Being an anti oxidant, vitamin C boosts healthy cell regeneration process and it results in healthy, soft and even toned skin.

Vitamin C fights off the free radicals and protects our skin from acne. Its anti inflammatory properties reduce the redness and irritation of acne and accelerate the healing process.

Vitamin C boosts the collagen production in the skin. It helps to maintain the natural elasticity of the skin. This in turn, prevents the appearance of aging signs, like lines and wrinkles.

Fibroblast is a type of skin cell that produces collagen and vitamin C can stimulate the fibroblast activities to improve collagen production.

Collagen is a very important structural protein for our skin and any deficiency of the same results in saggy skin with lines and wrinkles.

Red lentil is rich in calcium as well. The outermost layer of our skin contains a high amount of calcium. Calcium loss can lead to dry as well as rough skin.

Red lentil replenishes our skin with the calcium and prevent dry skin. It also speeds up skin renewal process, to maintain healthy and soft skin naturally.

Magnesium can slow down the aging process of the skin and keep it youthful. Vitamin B6 helps with cell renewal process and restores healthy skin.

Red lentil also contains iron, another important mineral for our skin, which is important to maintain a soft and supple skin.

Vitamin B2 has anti oxidant benefits. It can protect the skin from free radical damages as well as environmental assaults. Plus, B vitamins help to heal dry skin by boosting cell renewal process.

Not only vitamins, but yogurt contains various minerals as well, such as calcium, zinc etc. Calcium has the ability to boost cell regeneration and thus it helps to heal dry skin.

Zinc, with its anti inflammatory benefits, helps to prevent skin dryness, specially caused by sun damage.

Yogurt contains lactic acid as well which has numerous benefits for our skin. Lactic acid is a type of AHA and it helps with exfoliating the skin.

Along with exfoliation, lactic acid also provides moisturization and hydration for our skin. It helps to boost our complexion beautifully.

Furthermore, yogurt has the ability to reduce melanin synthesis. It can block the tyrosinase enzyme that directly influences the production of melanin. By reducing melanin, yogurt helps to lighten as well as brighten our complexion.

Yogurt also helps to treat acne and pimples, with its anti bacterial properties. Also, yogurt has astringent benefits for our skin.

Regular application of yogurt on skin helps to shrink the pores as well as control the oil secretion by the sebaceous glands. This helps to control the oiliness of the face and reduce breakouts, while keeping the skin fresh and glowing.
