Many people love to use shikakai along with reetha or soapnut as the replacement for shampoo. Shikakai comes with saponin, which has amazing cleansing properties, and it provides thorough cleansing without being harsh.

Also, this herb contains several vitamins including vitamin A, C, D, E, K which are quite beneficial for our hair. They provide a boost of nourishment to the hair follicles and promotes hair growth. Vitamin C increases collagen production, which further aids in hair growth.
