How to Prepare Homemade Hair Oil

1. Homemade Hair Oil with Coconut Oil and Curry Leaves

How to prepare?

Take some coconut oil in a container and add a handful of curry leaves to that. Place it over low flame and wait until the oil starts to look dark in color. Remove from the heat and wait until the oil reaches room temperature. Now, with the help of a strainer, separate the leaves from the oil and pour the oil in a clean bottle. Store away from sunlight. Heat this homemade hair oil slightly every time before application.

2. Homemade Hair Oil with Coconut Oil and Aloe Vera

How to prepare?

Take half of a cup of organic coconut oil and mix it with equal amount of pure aloe vera gel. Warm up this mixture slightly by placing it on low heat for 5-6 minutes. Remove from the heat and let it reach room temperature. Once done, add 5-6 drops of tea tree essential oil to the aloe vera gel and coconut oil mixture.

Mix together and pour this homemade hair oil in a clean glass bottle and store it in a cool, dark place for about 2 weeks before first application.

3. Homemade Hair Oil with Hibiscus and Coconut Oil

How to prepare?

Take 5-6 fresh red hibiscus flowers and wash them thoroughly. Separate the petals and dry them in the shade for couple of days. Take 1/4th cup each of coconut oil and olive oil in a container and heat it. Add the hibiscus petals to the oil mixture and keep it on low flame for about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and let it cool down.

With the help of a strainer, separate the petals from the oil and collect the oil in a dark glass bottle. Keep it in a cool, dark place and heat this homemade hair oil slightly every time before application.

4. Homemade Hair Oil with Amla and Coconut Oil

How to prepare?

Take 2 amla fruits and cut them into small pieces. Dry them in the shade for few hours. Take 2-3 tbsp each of organic coconut oil and bhringraj oil in a pan and add the amla pieces there. Heat the mixture on a low flame until the bubbles start to appear. Remove it from the heat and let it cool down a bit.

Transfer this homemade hair oil in a clean, dark glass bottle and store it in a cool place for about a week before the first application. Keep a close check to make sure the amla pieces are there in the homemade hair oil and shake the bottle regularly.
