Banana contains vitamin A, which is very effective in smoothening out the rough texture of the skin and also heals dry skin. Vitamin A can increase the sebum secretion in the skin, which keep the skin moisturized and prevent water loss. The B vitamins present in banana have anti oxidant benefits and they provide protection against free radicals that cause skin dryness. Also vitamin C in banana blocks the free radicals as well as boosts collagen production in the skin, thus maintaining its natural elasticity and prevent dryness. Banana also has vitamin E in it, which prevents dry skin due to UV damage.   • Peel and cut a ripe banana in to small pieces. Put the banana pieces in the blender and blend to prepare banana pulp. Add two tbsp fresh yogurt and a tsp honey to the banana pulp. Mix all the ingredients and apply an even layer of the mixture over the face and neck. Keep it on the skin for 15-20 minutes and rinse off with fresh water. Repeat once or twice a week.
  • Mash half of a ripe banana and prepare banana pulp. Add a tbsp malai to it and mix well. Apply this fruit face pack for dry skin all over the face and neck. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes before washing off. Repeat 2-3 times in a week.
  • Prepare banana pulp by blending one ripe banana and add two tsp olive oil to that. Mix together and apply it on the face and neck. Keep it on for 15-20 minutes. Wash off with fresh water. Repeat this fruit face pack for dry skin once or twice in a week.
  • Mash half of a ripe banana and add two tbsp each of honey and milk to that. Mix together. Apply the resultant mixture all over the face and neck. Let it sit on the skin for 15-20 minutes.   • Cut one ripe avocado in to half and remove the seed. Carefully scoop out the fleshy part and mash it nicely to prepare a lump free paste. Apply it on the face and neck, massaging gently with your finger tips. Keep it on the skin for 15-20 minutes and wash off with plain water. Repeat twice in a week.
  • Cut one avocado in to half and mash it with a fork. Mix it with a tbsp of coconut oil. Apply the mixture on to the face and neck and let it sit for 20-30 minutes. Wash off with plain water. Reapply this fruit face pack for dry skin 2-3 times in a week.
  • Mix together half mashed avocado with half mashed ripe banana. Apply the resultant mixture all over the face and neck, gently massaging in circular motion for few minutes. Leave it on the skin for another 15-20 minutes and wash off using plain water. Repeat once or twice in a week.

6. Fruit Face Pack for Dry Skin with Orange

Why it works?

  • Mash few fresh strawberries. Add some honey and milk cream to that and mix the three ingredients together. Apply the face pack on the face and neck. Massage gently for couple of minutes and let it stay on the skin for another 20 minutes. Wash off and repeat twice in a week.
