Glycerin and Rosewater Mix
Mix glycerin and rose water in 1:3 ratio. Add juice of half lemon to that. Mix well and keep the solution aside. Now soak your feet for 15-20 minutes in a warm water with salt in it. Rub the feet with pumice stone. Pat dry and apply the rosewater and glycerin mix. Do this every night for best result.
Fruit Foot Mask
This homemade fruit mask is a great remedy to cure cracked heels. Simply mash one banana, half of an avocado and coconut flesh from half coconut. Mix well to get a mask like consistency. Apply it on the heels and rest for 15 minutes. Wash off with plain water and follow up with a moisturizing foot cream. Do this everyday to get quick result.
Listerine Foot Soak
Take 2-3 cups of water in a container big enough to soak your feet. Add 1 cup of Listerine and 1 cup of white vinegar to it. Soak your feet in this solution for 15-20 minutes and then wash off and pat dry. Repeat twice a week for best result. Listerine contains antiseptic properties, thymol and phytochemicals which help to heal severely cracked heels.
Rice Flour Foot Scrub
This is another simple yet effective remedy for cracked heels. Make a foot scrub mixing together 3 tbsp rice flour (make sure its fine but coarse enough to act as a scrub), 1-2 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 2 tsp honey and few drops of olive oil. Keep it aside. Now soak your feet in warm water for 15-20 minutes. Gently rub with a wash cloth to scrape off the dead skin cells. Next apply the rice flour scrub to the heels and massage for 10-15 minutes. Wash off with plain water. Do this daily until the cracks are gone.
Lemon and Vaseline Foot Cream
Soak your feet in warm water and scrub with a pumice stone. Wash your feet well and pat dry. Mix 1 tsp vaseline with juice of a lemon. Massage this paste on the cracked heels until completely absorbed. Repeat this daily for best result.
