Hello and Good Morning all 🙂 The weekend is here! So what are your plans this weekend? I am still stuck with my house renovation work!! Its not easy at all.. huh!! Anyway, coming to today’s topic, Today I will be sharing Hikari Harvest Blush Review. After lipstick, Blushes are my obsession. Blush is a very important part of our makeup. It adds glamour and beauty to a woman’s beauty. But very often blush is not given the importance it actually deserves. Blush gives a natural healthy look to our face. Also when applied strategically, it can give us sculpted high cheek bones, just like Kareena Kapoor.

I received this Hikari Harvest Blush in this month’s (February) Fab Bag. Hikari is a new brand to me. Hikari is an up and coming cosmetic brand of USA, which was founded with the idea of delivering sophisticated and glamorous makeup to women at reasonable cost. They believe ‘Every woman should feel beautiful in their own skin and a little makeup could enhance your favorite features!’ This Hikari Harvest Blush is a lightweight formula which promises effortless application to the cheekbones that lasts all day. Lets get started with my Hikari Harvest Blush Review below.

My experience with Hikari Harvest Blush
Hikari Harvest Blush comes in a black square case. The blusher case has a transparent cover which helps to identify the shade well. There is no mirror, nor any applicator. The blush comes seated in a black cardboard box. I like the packaging, its sturdy and neat and safe to carry. Though the packaging looks pretty, but I actually expected it to come at least with an applicator (if not mirror).
The shade of this blush is ‘Harvest’, which is basically a deep raspberry or wine or plumy shade. It has fine, powdery texture. Its soft and smooth and gives matte finish. The pigmentation is superb. One sweep is enough for good color pay off. So use the brush light handedly while picking up the blush. I haven’t noticed any fall out issue as of yet. It has subtle shimmer, which adds to its beauty.
Like I said before, the shade ‘Harvest’ is a plumy shade, which is perfect for fair skin tone, not so much for dark to wheatish complexion. I somehow, don’t like the shade much, and decided to use it as eye shadow 🙂 The blush has impressive staying power. It gives me a wear time of 5-6 hours in average. The good thing is that it doesn’t accentuate the dry spots, nor it causes breakouts.
Overall,?Hikari Harvest Blush is a good product. Well pigmented, long lasting and fine powdery texture..it definitely deserves a try. However, I would be preferred a different shade for my wheatish complexion.
