Anxious of those greys that flash and attract unwarranted attention? Worried that they make you look way older than you actually are? Tired and dissatified with those ammonia-laden dyes and hair colors that promise to cover your greys but end up burning a hole in your pocket without doing anything remotely significant to cover your greys? Relax 🙂 You always have our Good Ol’ Henna for rescue. Nowadays, people as young as 15 year olds too end up developing a few greys which of course, is unnatural given their age. While their dietary proclivities are to blame to for this yet there’s no denying that having grey hair/a few grey strands doesn’t look comely. Today I will be sharing a henna powder review with you all – Habibs Aesthetics Henna Powder Review.

Within my own kith and kin, all the ladies after a certain age- regardless of how their hair was that is, virgin or chemically-treated, relied single-handedly on Henna to cover their greys 🙂 It was as if every lady launched a ”Civil Disobedience Movement” against ammonia-laden dyes and store-bought hair colours. Habibs Aesthetics Henna Powder is something that the ladies in my family have been using for long. I myself have used it twice when I had a few grey strands out of panic! So lets get started with Habibs Aesthetics Henna Powder Review.

What Habibs Aesthetics Henna Powder claims
My experience with Habibs Aesthetics Henna Powder
Packed in a plastic tub with a green cap on top, Habibs Aesthetics Henna Powder is quite sturdy as well as spillage-free. However, I doubt its ability to be deemed “travel-friendly” since carrying products that come in tubs, with this one coming in a tub of considerable size, is not a cakewalk. On the whole, it is fine in terms of packaging.
The henna is finely powdered but that doesn’t mean that it will be a cakewalk to mix it with the base ingredient. You have to put in a good amount of endeavor to mix it with the base ingredient (such as- curd, water , or whatever you wish to). I have never seen any lady in my family keep the henna on her hair for more than 60 minutes since henna is said to have a drying effect on one’s hair. And Habibs Aesthetics Henna Powder is no exception to that. Even when I kept it on my hair for an hour, after washing it off, my hair felt slightly dry (I have dry hair by the way). So, those who have oily hair can use it with abandon since it’ll draw out the excess oil off your hair but those with dry/extremely dry hair need to reduce the time for which they’d like to keep it on their hair.
I had just a few countable grey hair strands and I have used herbal powders for hair since long, so in my case, when I used it for the first time, I could note the results after my hair dried 🙂 It provided a good grey coverage and added a little shine. On the flipside, it dried my hair but I can’t blame it exclusively for that since I have dry hair and Henna is known to anyway, dry out one’s hair. My grandmother has been using Habibs Aesthetics Henna Powder Review for quite sometime and she seems contented with the results. In fact, I can see the results on her hair. Despite being in her early 60s, she has slightly less grey hair as compared to women of her age. I won’t say that she has zero greys. Yes, she does have greys but they are quite less. Also, since she has never used any store-bought shampoo and conditioner till date, so her hair isn’t damaged 🙂
On the whole, Habibs Aesthetics Henna Powder provides a good grey coverage, imparts a little shine and is herbal in composition. It has a drying effect so should be used with caution. However, when compared to those ammonia-laden dyes and chemical-laden hair colors, it is definitely a better pick.

Even I have used this one in the past and loved it totally 🙂
The only con is the dryness that is concomitant with its benefits. However, it is a good pick nevertheless 🙂
Didn’t know Habibs had henna powder. Sounds nice. Would try it out.

Thanks for reading. It’s good but just dries out hair so must be used cautiously 🙂
