Another new post for you all – Fuschia Orange Moisturizing Lotion Review. Moisturizers are to dry skin what food is to body. And if the moisturizer happens to be from a natural and handmade brand, the reason to try it increases manifold, doesn’t it? Fuschia is a renowned brand which promotes itself as an SLS free, phthalate free, paraben free and cruelty free skin care firm. Now, that was somewhat compelling enough for me get hold of a few products from this line and gauge for myself.

Since winters here in Delhi have begun subjecting us to their merciless repercussions, I vowed to protect my dry skin from falling off like withered leaves the way it is shown in a popular advertisement of a skin care brand, with a relatively mild moisturizer. It is none other than Fuschia Orange Moisturizing Lotion. Today I will be sharing Fuschia Orange Moisturizing Lotion Review. Lets see how it fared for me 🙂

My experience with Fuschia Orange Moisturizing Lotion
Fuschia Orange Moisturizing Lotion comes packed in simple plastic bottle with a cap on top. I find the packaging way too simple in fact, for the price one is paying, this is too flimsy a packaging. The cap exhibits a tendency to allow the moisturizer to spill which is exasperating. If properly closed, it is fine but still, the price demands a better packaging. On the whole, in terms of packaging, it is underwhelming.
The moisturizer has a runny texture and once applied on ones skin, it gets absorbed effortlessly. However, I don’t feel it did anything remotely noteworthy for my dry skin. I had to re-apply every 1-1.5 hours and because of that, I think it won’t be suitable for those with dry/extremely dry skin even though it has oils which are meant to quench ones skins thirst for moisture. However, it is a good bet for those with normal and oily skin especially oily skin since it is non-greasy, lightweight and easily absorbed once applied. It doesn’t impart that eyesore shiny after-effect that most moisturizers do so, that gives oily and combination skin another reason to pick this up. But for dry/extremely dry skin, its not of much use.
Since it is handmade and free from phthalates, SLS and parabens, there’s respite since ones not torturing his/her skin.
Given its runny texture, lightweight, non-greasy and non-slippery consistency, I find Fuschia Orange Moisturizing Lotion apt for only oily and combination skin types. Normal skin can opt for it but dry and extremely dry skin shouldn’t place their bets on this.

Good one Nidhal. Looks like its Fushia season now 🙂
Thanks 🙂 However, I wasn’t impressed with this one.
sounds great for hot humid days but price is too much for the quantity…nice review.
Hey Anubhuti, thank for dropping by to leave a comment. I agree that the price is slightly higher for the quantity but it is not laced with a number of chemicals so, can be thought of a one-time experiment if you are tempted by it 🙂 However, if you have dry skin, of recommend a body butter. The price of Aroma Essentials’ body butter is reasonable and so is its performance. Take care!
I do have dry skin, but I could definitely try this out in summers when my skin doesn’t need much moisturization.
I think your skin’s condition varies, Sangeeta as per the weather condition. In my lreview of Pond’s facial foam, you mentioned that you’ve oily skin and in this one, you’re mentioning that you’ve dry skin. I think either you’ve combination type or your skin varies as as per weather 🙂
Anyway, since it’s not laden with SLS, SLES & Parabens, you can go for it. It isn’t intensely hydrating but good to go for not-so-dry skin types 🙂
never heard of this brand…i too have dry skin like sangeeta…will give this a try in summers
It’s suitable for oily, excessively oil and normal skin , Pallavi 😛
I wanted to get this one but was confused…thanks for sharing . this looks perfect fr my skin type 🙂
