My experience with Fabindia Fruity Vanilla Lip Butter

Fabindia Fruity Vanilla Lip Butter comes in a cute, tiny, transparent, tub packaging with the brand label stuck on the white screw lid. The tub was housed inside a outer cardboard packaging with all the details of the product and the ingredients printed on it. The tub is tiny and convenient enough to be carried around in your purse.

Before starting to use Fabindia Fruity Vanilla Lip Butter, my lips were extremely dry and cracked due to the cold winters. Just within two days of using it, my lips healed considerably. It is rightly named as a lip butter as the texture is thick and buttery, very much like our Amul butters. Unlike usual lip balms, which have waxy texture, this feels smooth and buttery on the lips. It doesn’t get absorbed completely and leaves a thin film on lips which help to moisturize the lips for a longer time. It helps to soften and smoothen my lips and also adds a bit of gloss. I love the flavor as its not pure fruity, but has some hint of vanilla in it. I have never used a vanilla lip balm before. I feel its more like warm cinnamon flavor. But not all people might like this flavor, I guess.

Fabindia Fruity Vanilla Lip Butter is a colorless lip balm which doesn’t give any tint. You can wear your lipstick or lipgloss over it. The staying power of Fabindia Fruity Vanilla Lip Butter is great. It lasts for good 3-4 hours and prevents lips from drying out. The only problem is in winters it hardens up a little and becomes difficult to take it. Also it contains parabens in the ingredients list, so people who are particular about using paraben-free products should stay away from it.

Overall, Fabindia Fruity Vanilla Lip Butter is a super moisturizing lip treatment for the winters. It heals dry and chapped lips by retaining moisture for a long time. It also softens and smooths lips and gives a bit of shine. And it has a lovely mix of fruity and warm vanilla flavor. I feel this is one of the best, affordable lip butters for winters.
