Coloressence Intense Liquid Lip Color Antique Ruby has quite an innovative packaging! It comes in a rectangular shaped plastic tube. A matte black twist open cap comes attached with the tube, which is the cap-cum-applicator. Nice packaging overall and can be carried easily during travelling.

Coloressence Intense Liquid Lip Color Antique Ruby is a very pretty plum based red shade with pink undertone. The bold shade beautifully highlights your skin tone (specially for fair skin tone) and lifts your overall look instantly. It is a matte lip color which initially looks creamy upon application. And then settles into fine matte finish within seconds. It is a heavily pigmented lip color, which can stain your outfit. The lipstick would help in covering medium pigmented lips. The lip color is smooth and creamy, hence glides easily. The applicator is of good quality too and provides smooth application.

The lip color has a fruity smell, which I don’t really like. Coloressence Intense Liquid Lip Color Antique Ruby doesn’t hydrate the lips, neither it dries out them. I would suggest to apply lip balm underneath, especially during winter. The lipstick is slightly sticky, but nothing much bothering. The staying power is medium. Without a full meal, it would last for 6 hours. But it tends to dry up with time. After a full meal, it fades away and unevenly settles into the lip lines which looks awkward. It neither bleeds, nor feathers.

Overall, Coloressence Intense Liquid Lip Color Antique Ruby is a beautiful shade to wear in winter. It brightens up the complexion immediately and glam up your entire look. Plus it’s easy on wallet. If you want to try a bold lip color, but uncertain about the shade, I would suggest you to give it a go!
