It is the most beautiful purple anyone could own. Unfortunately it is discontinued and the sales staff insisted I check out the new range of Smoky pencils that serve dual purpose of kajal and eyeliner. The colors were beautiful but did not have any purples. The Colorbar Just Smoky Kajal – Just Green 003 looked like an absolute must have green for me and I decided and picked it up.

The Colorbar Just Smoky Kajal – Just Green 003 is from the ‘Smoky’ range of Colorbar. All the Kajals in this range start with the word “Just” like Just Black, Just Grey, Just Teal, Just Blue, Just Brown & Just Electra. For me this kajal pencil is more of an eyeliner than Kajal. It is a beautiful soft matte finish, no shimmer eye kajal in dark metallic green color. It is safe for waterline and can be used for eyeliners as well. My experience with Colorbar Just Smoky Kajal – Just Green 003

The Colorbar Just Smoky Kajal – Just Green 003 comes in a silver colored packaging which has the ingredients, shelf life, price, name, directions of usage engraved on it. I barely have thrown out any of their packaging somehow.  The pencil is a wooden one which is of the same color as that of the product and hence is easier to locate. One end of the pencil has the product while the other one has the smudger which is of rubbery texture.

Colorbar Just Smoky Kajal – Just Green 003 glides very smoothly over the eyelids without any tugging or pressure and gives a neat definition to the eyes. The products sets in very quickly and if the intention is to smudge it needs to be done very quickly upon application. I have tried wearing it as a kajal on water line which fades off in some times. But when applied on the lower lash line it has good staying power. The products stays on decently for more than 8 hours and can be removed with a good make up remover. The color is very pretty and would suit all complexions. This is a must have product for me from Colorbar.

Overall, Colorbar Just Smoky Kajal – Just Green 003 is a wooden green pencil with creamy, highly pigmented texture for neatly lining eyes both as kohl and eyeliner. The Smudger is apt for a soft smoky look. The kajal sets in seconds and has a high lasting capacity which can be removed with any decent remover.
