Chapstick Classic Strawberry Skin Protectant Review

Another lip balm review coming your way and it is Chapstick Classic Strawberry Skin Protectant Review. There are a few lip balms which though relatively niche find an ardent and loyal customer base. One cannot help but try them out to see what is it that has such a loyal fan base. My Experience with Chapstick Classic Strawberry Skin Protectant

Chapstick Classic Strawberry Skin Protectant?is relatively small in size as compared to most other lip balms (Maybelline Baby Lips, Lotus herbals lip balm, etc.) It comes packed in a sturdy plastic roll-up tube with an equally sturdy cap that doesn’t loosen with daily usage. I find it travel-friendly and spillage-free.

On account of packaging, it works well for me. It is not fancy or eye-catching but then, I don’t judge products based on their outward appearance πŸ™‚

The texture of Chapstick Classic Strawberry Skin Protectant is smooth and it is a cakewalk to glide it on your lips. The aroma is very much like that of a bubble gum and persists for a minutes but vanishes into thin air after sometime. It is not too strong or over-powering so those with sensitive noses need not worry at all. The balm has a light pink color as is seen in the pictures however, it doesn’t transfer it to your lips. So, those with pigmented lips should not rely on this lip balm to hide/conceal/cover their pigmentation. Even after 9-10 swipes I was unable to produce the desired tone which was irritating. What’s the purpose in giving it a pink tone when it won’t transfer that tinge to your lips? It provides a nice protective shield for your lips since I have eaten quite a number of times while wearing this lip balm and it didn’t wear off even once πŸ™‚ The moisturization power is meriotorious. It stayed on my lips for a good 3 hours at a stretch while I ate in between too! I feel it has the ability to cure even those lips which are highly dry and in quest of intense moisturization. Also,my lips were softened after its effect ended.

But one look at its ingredients list, and you can’t help but notice the multitude of chemicals it contains. It even has parabens and alcohol. That to me is really a big put-off.

On whole, it works exceptionally well on all parameters except its huge chemical composition as well as zero-to-negligible tint. So, keeping these factors in mind, make an informed choice πŸ™‚

Overall, Good but not exceptional given that Chapstick Classic Strawberry Skin Protectant doesn’t produce any tint and has a lot of chemicals some really toxic ones, added into it (as is seen via the ingredients’ list).
