Burst of Happyness Lucky Lips Review is what I am going to share now. The 1957 song in the R &B, pop genre by Ruth Brown Lucky lips which was successfully covered by Cliff Richard in 1963 gave pop enthusiasts a song to croon to. When Bollywood came out with its own version of Lucky Lips in the 2005 Salman Khan and Sneha Ullal starrer Lucky: No time for love, somewhere I cowered for even the title of at least half a century old chartbuster can be lifted in the name of inspiration. No, it was not a rip-off but I dislike it when anything is remotely related to someone elses work. And yes, I overtly hate the trend of remakes, copies and remixes. Let classics be classics. Don’t rip them off just because you lack imagination. Come on, I besides a few scantily-clad women, alcohol, cuss words strewn in the lyrics of the original song, and auto-tuned voices, there is nothing new to offer and I doubt if the audience would buy all these for long.

Anyway, that’s enough bashing of the remixed songs for now 😛 Lets steer to the topic. Having tried a few products from the organic skin care line Burst of Happyness, today I will review a lip balm that is, cent per cent organic, vegan and free from chemical preservatives. It is none other than Burst of Happyness Lucky Lips. Lets see if this turns out to be the IT solution for your lips or an archetype of All sizzle no steak 🙂 Lets get started with Burst of Happyness Lucky Lips Review.

My experience with Burst of Happyness Lucky Lips
Burst of Happyness Lucky Lips comes packed in a plastic tub with a cap on top. Its simple but not really flattering. The tub packaging may earn a few frowns too, since most people are reluctant to use lip balms in tubs. However, the texture of the balm is such that it cannot come in a stick form and hence, tub packaging is understandable. It is spillage-free and sturdy so, fine despite a few glitches in packaging.
Burst of Happyness Lucky Lips lip balm has a texture from medium to thick. Once applied on lips, it comes across as a colorless balm. Since it is colorless, it does not cover pigmented lips. Its staying power wasnt too good either. For my normal lips, it stayed well for about 2.5 hours which is quite low. Precisely because of this, I think that for dry/parched lips, its staying power will be lower.
Since it is colorless/tintless, you can use it as a base for lipsticks to prolong their life or at night to hydrate your lips. Once its effect fades, there is still some softness and hydration for a few minutes about 15-20 minutes which depicts its efficacy in softening your lips. That is why, I feel it works well as a lip-smoothening agent/remedy to cure chapped lips, but not as a product to add the glam value to your lips.
Overall, its a mixed bag! Burst of Happyness Lucky Lips comes with its advantages such as- hydration and organic composition as well as disadvantages such as- zero color/tint and a low staying power.

Yes, the name is quite out of the box 🙂 It isn’t disappointing but not really immaculate.
