My Experience With Boots Strawberry Yoghurt Intensive Hair Treatment

The packaging is sturdy.  It’s an elongated tub pink in color. The cap is red in color and of screw type. The cap fits tightly and there is no leakage which is a good part. But this pack is not at all recommended for travel. Hygiene is another concern in tub packaging. I prefer taking out the masque in spatula so maintain maximum level of hygiene.

The moment I open the cap, I feel like eating it. Remember, there is a caption on the tub saying “This is not food”. Lol.. that’s funny. I mean the users know what is consumable and what is not.  The masque is baby pink in color and has the best fragrance of strawberry. The masque is runny in consistency. A tablespoon of masque is required for my little below shoulder length hair. I did not get the shampoo from the same range so I used this masque with my current favorite L’Oreal professional shampoo. After shampooing, I kept it on my hair for 5 odd minutes and then washed off my hair with water. It did not get easily washed away with water, a lot of water was used. I did not encounter hairfall too. But post hair wash, I could see the difference in my hair. My hair is soft, and less frizzy. I did not apply any serum after washing my hair to see the effects. For one whole day, my hair is manageable but the next day, my hair is back to frizzy. Serum is must after using this masque. I even applied this masque on my hair for 20 min like how we usually keep the masques on hair to see the results. But alas.. the effects last only a day and hair is manageable and straighter and better for a day only.

I am also disappointed with the fragrance. The fragrance of strawberry do not get settled in hair. My hair don’t smell of strawberry at all. This tub is quite affordable in Thailand while in India is quite expensive. This tub can last me easily for 3 – 4 months if used twice a week.

Overall, this is a just another hair conditioner with awesome ingredients list and fragrance, though it does not impart any fragrance to hair. I am glad that I bought only a single pack. It tames frizziness to an extent.
