The Body Care brand is a popular brand in small local parlors. The products are cheap and results are noteworthy. I came across this brand on Homeshop18 website. Instead of trying their whole range, I wanted to try their any one product to start with, so I picked this almond scrub from their range. I was not expecting miracles to happen overnight but atleast it should remove black heads and dead cells, as scrubbing is a part of my weekly regime. So lets us look at the detailed review of The Body Care Almond Scrub.

Directions For Using : Moisten face with water. Srub the face gently avoiding pimple/acne. Avoid direct contact with eyes. For best results, use 3-4 times a week.

Bodycare’s Almond Facial Scrub is specially formulated with sweet almond oil. It’s cream based scrub with softening cleansing and soothing properties that helps to rejuvenate the skin cells and making skin look fresh & clear. With the quality granules that help to remove black heads an dead cells.

My Experience with The Body Care Almond Scrub

Let us see the packaging. The tub is small plastic white in color. The cap is screw type and not flip flop. Once you open the cap, you can see the foil cover for extra protection like the imported Nivea cream. I usually don’t prefer tub type packaging due to hygiene issues, so I take out some scrub in a small box and keep in my bathroom for regular use.

The Body Care Almond Scrub has a pleasant smell. The granules are coarse and brown in color.I would not recommend to scrub very hard and long with this as the particles are little coarse. The skin might tear off if done for long and with hard hands. I applied scrub as per the directions of use and scrubbed the face for around 5 minutes. The Body Care Almond Scrub though not mentioned, but I feel can also be used for body scrubbing. After washing the face, I noticed that The Body Care Almond Scrub did the job of exfoliating the skin effectively. It did not make my skin scratchy. My skin turned very soft and supple. The Body Care Almond Scrub removed whiteheads on my skin. The scrub did not cause me any breakout. The Body Care Almond Scrub did not make my skin dry either. I would recommend The Body Care Almond Scrub for all skin types including sensitive as I have sensitive dry skin. It is perfect to be used in all seasons. The scrub is easily available and quite affordable.

The only con what I noticed is that The Body Care Almond Scrub does not have tan removal properties. There are special tan removal scrubs available in the markets.

Overall, I would say The Body Care Almond Scrub is one of the best readily available and affordable almond scrub in the market without tan removal properties.
