Hi all 🙂 I am back with another review and this time it is Bioderma Sebium Purifying Cleansing Gel Review. Bioderma is a french skin care brand known for its great range of products for all skin types. The unique characteristic of this brand is that each of their product mechanism is based on ‘placing biology at the service of dermatology’. I have used a few Bioderma products before. And I must say they fared me really well. So when I received this Bioderma Sebium Purifying Cleansing Gel in one of my Fab bags, I could not wait to try it out.

Bioderma Sebium Purifying Cleansing Gel is a gentle cleansing gel specially targeted to oily skin. Bioderma Sebium Purifying Cleansing Gel contains zinc sulphate, which is not only an excellent cleanser, but also has astringent and anti-microbial properties. It is a soap free foaming gel that promises to reduce sebum secretion and purify the epidermis layer of our skin. Bioderma Sebium Purifying Cleansing Gel is an ultra-soft cleansing formula which is formulated with non-irritant substances. Now let’s see how it worked for me. Direction for use :Moisten your face with lukewarm water then work up a lather in your hands with Sebium Foaming gel and apply to your face. Rinse your face thoroughly; rinsing time should always be longer than washing time. Drying your skin is essential but must be done gently. Pat your face with a with a clean, cotton towel. Sebium Foaming gel can be used morning and evening.

My experience with Bioderma Sebium Purifying Cleansing Gel

I got the sample size product. But Bioderma Sebium Purifying Cleansing Gel has very attractive packaging. Mine came in a transparent bottle. The bigger sizes has pump style packaging which is very convenient to use. And of course a travel friendly packaging.

Bioderma Sebium Purifying Cleansing Gel, as the name suggests is a gel based cleanser. A blue colored gel with little runny consistency. The smell it has is slightly medicinal. The cleansing gel lathers nicely and washes away excess oil, dirt and makeup residue from the face. Skin feels clean and fresh. It?leaves the skin matte without any dryness or stretchiness.

Bioderma Sebium Purifying Cleansing Gel has an excellent cleansing action, particularly beneficial for oily and combination skin people. It removes excess oil without stripping the skin. However, it is not much effective on controlling breakouts.

Overall, Bioderma Sebium Purifying Cleansing Gel is a must have cleanser for people with oily and combination skin. It is a soap free cleanser which works extremely well in terms of removing excess oil, without drying out the skin.
