Ingredients –

  • Besan
  • Turmeric powder
  • Sandalwood powder
  • Wheat flour
  • Rose water
  • Raw milk

How to prepare?

Take a mixing bowl and put a tbsp besan there. To that, add a generous pinch of turmeric and one tbsp each of wheat flour and sandalwood powder. Mix the dry ingredients nicely with a spoon. Add some rose water as well as raw milk to the dry mixture and prepare a paste. If you have oily skin, you can skip the milk.

Once the ubtan is ready, apply it all over the face and neck and leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Wash off with plain water. Repeat twice or thrice weekly.

2. Homemade Ubtan with Red Lentil and Sandalwood

Ingredients –

  • Red lentil powder (Masoor dal powder)
  • Sandalwood powder
  • Turmeric powder
  • Gram flour
  • Yogurt
  • Rose water
  • Beetroot juice

How to prepare?

Take 2 tbsp red lentil powder in a mixing bowl. To that, add a generous pinch of turmeric powder and 2 tbsp each of gram flour as well as sandalwood powder. Mix the dry ingredients together. Add some rose water, 2 tbsp of beetroot juice and 1-2 tbsp of fresh and unflavored yogurt. Mix all the ingredients together and prepare a paste.
