My experience with Avon Simply Pretty ColorBliss Lipstick Cherry Red

Lets start with the packaging. Looking at the outer cover which is a nice mauvish pink color, I presumed that Avon Simply Pretty ColorBliss Lipstick Cherry Red is also going to be pink. The lipstick has a light colored ring in the middle where the cap closes and the cap fits really well hence no chance of the lipstick getting spoilt due to loose fitting while travelling. Also the exterior plastic casing is quite sturdy. The packaging has small flower printed with ‘simply pretty’ written on it. The floral pattern makes it very feminine.

Avon Simply Pretty ColorBliss Lipstick Cherry Red is a blue toned red or maroonish red color. It’s not a trick red which is hard to carry. The color suits well for most skin tones. The texture of the lipstick is matte yet creamy which makes it easy to apply. It blends well without any form of patchiness and feels light and comfortable on the lips. This is my first stint with Avon lipsticks and I am pretty amazed with the amount of pigmentation and rich color they offer at such an affordable price. The lipstick is much pigmented and offers an opaque finish in a single swipe. Hence it works well for all those who have pigmented lips. The lipstick is moisturizing and does not dry lips.

Avon Simply Pretty ColorBliss Lipstick Cherry Red stays easily put for a little more than 5 hours after which it fades off. It can be completely removed using any make up remover or wipes. However the fragrance of the lipstick is bad and somehow reminds me of some cheap ones so I totally dislike this factor. All in all this ‘cherry red’ is a nice pigmented lipstick at affordable price that one can own.

Overall, Avon Simply Pretty ColorBliss Lipstick Cherry Red is a budget red lipstick with great pigmentation, high intensity of color to offer a creamy matte finish which is long lasting. The lipstick is super affordable in a nice sturdy feminine packaging.
