AICW 2015 : Kriti Sanon at Amazon India Couture Week 2015

Hi girls, today my post is about AICW 2015 : Kriti Sanon at Amazon India Couture Week 2015. Most of the fashion shows are focused on bridal wear as one of the themes. Designer Monisha Jaisingh launched her chic bridal wear for today’s modern woman at Amazon India Couture Week AICW 2015, at Hotel Taj, New Delhi. The event started on Wednesday and would end on Sunday August 5, 2015. So friends, let’s check out my post on AICW 2015 : Kriti Sanon at Amazon India Couture Week 2015.

Monisha Jaising “The Sailing Bride” collection consisted Panelled skirts, cross-over bralettes, lehenga gowns, embellished cigarette pants and pre-draped sarees. The collection represented the modern, ambitious and carefree women of today’s generation. Monisha’s collection of fabrics focuses on silk, metallic fur, metallic chiffon, stretch nappa leather, crepe, cotton, tulle and more. The colors for the bridal wear was also chosen up carefully with  focus on ivory, molten gold, nude, red, winter sky, midnight blue, sunset, seaweed teal, blush pink and even all hues of gold. Kriti Sanon turned the showstopper for Monisha Jaisungh which turned heads up. Dressed in a grey tank top and grey lehenga and gold jewellery, Kriti sanon represented the bold and beautiful modern bride on the runway. The lehenga was heavy embellished with heavy golden zari work. This outfit was completed by the red dupatta with heavy gold embellishments. Rather than covering the head with dupatta in the traditional way, Kriti wore the dupatta from back with the ends of the dupatta hanging around the arms in the front. She also was seen wearing finger bracelets which is a current trend.

Instead of heavy arm jewellery, Heropanti actress was donning printed arm tattoos and comfortable printed sneakers. Kriti killed off the look with uptied ponytail. For the make up, Kriti was wearing bright orange lip color keeping the rest of the make up minimal.

Kriti Sanon impressed us, with her traditional yet modern look. We are also impressed the way, that rather than just taking forward with the traditional bridal look in red and orange or pink, this modern bride was given grey as a color for bridal wear.

Kriti Sanon was last seen in Heropanti opposite Tiger Shroff. She received many awards for her performance along with the prestigious  filmfare award. She is currently working for “Dilwale” opposite Varun Dhawan, and also starring Shahrukh Khan, Kajol. The movie will release in December 2015.
