They are the basic skincare steps that we can’t afford to miss. This CTM routine becomes all more important when winter is coming. Winter requires special attention to our skin. CTM is important because it provides nourishment for our skin, it cleanses our skin off the dirt and grime and provides the all necessary moisture. So let’s take a quick look at Winter CTM Routine.
Cleansing as part of Winter CTM Routine
First step of basic skincare is cleaning. There are various ways to clean your skin, which you can try according to your skin type and your need.
Cleansing Milk : Choose your cleansing milk according to your skin. If you have dry skin, try almond cleansing milk. If you have oily skin, try lemon and turmeric cleansing milk. For normal skin, try aloe vera cleansing milk. First clean your face with water and then apply some cleansing milk on your face. Massage your face gently and then remove it with wet cotton. Wash your face and repeat this daily.
Face Wash : Face wash removes oil, dirt and grime from our face. If you have dry skin then try face wash which has milk, yogurt and honey. If you have normal skin, you must try fruit face wash.
Skin toning as part of Winter CTM Routine
Toning is extremely important for your skin. It maintains skin’s pH balance, makes skin soft and glowing.
Normal Skin Toner : Rose water is best for normal skin. You can also boil marigold flowers in water, then cool this mixture and apply it on your face. This nourishes our skin.
Anti Wrinkle Skin Toner : Take 2 tbsp of grape juice and add 1 tbsp aloe vera juice, mix it well. Apply it on your face. If you have open pores issue, you should applying tomato juice. Try this 3-4 times in a week.
Moisturizing as part of Winter CTM Routine
Natural moisturizer is best for our skin. It not only safeguards our skin from chemicals, but also gives glow. If you want to moisturize your skin cells, use coconut water. Alternatively, you can use coconut and almond oil, which have qualities to moisture our skin.
