Hi girls, Hope you all are doing great and enjoying the winters to the core. I am enjoying the comfort of my quilt while typing this review!! Rightly said, there is no place like home..na? Getting back to the review, Today, my post is about VLCC Skin Defence Liquorice Cold Cream Review.
Check – Oshea RoseMoist Winter Care Cream Review
My all time favourite cold cream is Pond’s without a doubt but then a good change is always welcome. I chose VLCC cream because their products are herbal / ayurvedic in nature made from special blends of botanical extracts, nutrients and aromatic oils, which are unique and highly effective product formulae. VLCC beauty treatments try to balance of activity, hydration, nourishment and protection, which rebuilds the skin’s natural defenses from the inside – from the cell to the surface. What VLCC Skin Defence Liquorice Cold Cream claims
This dual-action moisturizing cream is enriched with rose petals and liquorice extracts which, help heal and soften the rough and dry skin. It provides your skin with deep moisturisation while protecting it from the harmful effects of the sun (SPF 10).
My experience with VLCC Skin Defence Liquorice Cold Cream
The product comes in a cream coloured tub-with screw-on cap.It is best to use a small spatula like you get with bleaches to dispense the product.I find the fragrance very pleasant as soon as I open the jar. That is nice early morning 🙂 The product is white in color and the consistency is thinner than Ponds cold cream. My skin absorbs the product pretty well without any stickiness or oiliness.I apply this on clean face and neck in morning and evening and my skin definitely feels nourished and hydrated, soft and supple. The product claims to have lots of herbal extracts like Grape Seed, Cobra Saffron, Rose Petals, Liquorice and Aloe Vera, Oils of Jojoba and Olive which was one chief reason that attracted me towards this cream.I don’t know about protecting against sun damage claim as it has a SPF 10 only. So, you cant skip your sunscreen..As per the claims, it does give deep moisturisation and softens skin. So, one honest product. It is very travel friendly.
Over all, a nice non sticky cold cream that should suit all skin types, as per me!!

Hi, I have just purchased this cold cream from vlcc. I have extremely dry skin that gets cracks around my lips. I needed very well moisturizing cream, I hope this one will give me good results. I have used till now almost all foreign very known brands and most of the time they made my face with red small pimples itchy and no hydrating effects at all. Not mentioning how much money I have bed spending for them.
I decided to purchase the vlcc cream because of ingredients that it has. I’m really hoping to get better results with this one.
So how was your experience? I ask b’coz I also hv very dry skin in winters, yet I want a non sticky cream which doesnt give me acne & pimples.
Did it give you any acne or pimples after regular use?
