Vicco Turmeric WSO Skin Cream Review

By Avanti

Hi Friends  today my post is about Vicco Turmeric WSO Skin Cream Review. Well this cream needs no introduction. It was a household cream for many of our moms and aunts. I saw this cream when I was a child. Everyone in India at least knows the benefits of turmeric for skin. I used this cream for good 5 years in my teenage years.

I had completely forgotten about this cream until a few days when one of my office colleagues from US while going back said she needs to stock up this cream as they don’t get it there. She literally bought 20 tubes of this cream and that’s when I realized I don’t remember why I stopped using this cream. So I got one for myself as well and started with my years old regime of using this cream.

This one is the newest variant they have. They have 2 with and without sandalwood and this one with ayurvedic oils.

What the Product Claims: Vicco Turmeric, an Ayurvedic Medicine, prevents and cures skin infections, inflammation, blemishes, wounds and other skin disorders. It soothes boils, pimples, acne and burns. It nourishes the skin, improves tonal value and makes it fair and beautiful.

 Feel about Product:

I used yogurt or cream and turmeric pack on a regular basis. But eventually they started leaving a lot of stains and it kinda became an additional effort for me. I liked the way they worked on my skin but did not have patience for the after work. So I stopped using it. The moment I got this cream this time I first thought of that thing. My effort is all gone…yAayy!! It comes in a bad looking tube. Really hate the packaging.

Now they say that we can apply the cream during daytime and nighttime as well. But I personally feel that if I use it during daytime it tends to make my skin oily and plus I can’t roam around with the turmeric smell always. So I use it on my skin at night, nicely blend it and let it soak in for the whole night. The effect I get on the next morning is awesome!!

Firstly it helped me reduce a lot of blemishes. At least they are quiet lighter now.  Mainly and most importantly since the time I have started using this cream regularly I haven’t had any major acne, pimple or red skin outbreak…!!! Thanks a lot for that.

My skin on the cheeks is hyper sensitive to pollution and sunlight. So whenever I use this cream, my skin on cheeks doesn’t burn. Nor does it turn red or give rashes. I haven’t seen any side effects as of now. Have been using it for almost 2 months now.

One main thing I observed that people from abroad are highly attracted to this cream. And that is why the quality has improved or something. Nonetheless its  really nice and I guess every girl should try this once. If you are oil skinned you might want to skip the one with sandalwood oil

  • Affordable
  • No side effects.
  • Can be used for all type of skin problems
  • Ayurvedic
  • Gives a little matte look if you want to use outside

Bad about Product:

  • Can’t be used outside if you have a oily skin
  • I don’t like the smell

Availability:  This variant is a bit difficult to find

Rating: 4.5/5  ♥♥♥♥
