Vedic Line Sandalwood and Turmeric Face Wash Review

Today, I will be reviewing a face wash from Vedic Line – Vedic Line Sandalwood and Turmeric Face Wash Review. I got to know this brand while browsing in Purplle. I have tried their Neem & Brahmi face wash a while back and loved it. When I saw this Sandalwood & Turmeric face wash, I wanted to try it as both the ingredients are very beneficial to the skin and having it in your daily face wash is going to do loads of good for your skin.

Vedic Line Sandalwood and Turmeric Face Wash Review

Turmeric is an age-old beauty ingredient which helps to give clear and glowing skin. Sandalwood soothes and cools the skin, helping to calm down breakouts and inflammation. I have combination skin which gets very dry in winters and certain drugstore face washes dry out my skin too much. Result is dry patches near my nose, lips and forehead. I got this face wash as it was mentioned for normal to dry or mature skin. Read on Vedic Line Sandalwood and Turmeric Face Wash Review to know how it works.

My experience with Vedic Line Sandalwood and Turmeric Face Wash

Vedic Line Sandalwood and Turmeric Face Wash comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a flip-open cap. I don’t find this convenient as the face wash has a thick consistency and when it gets to the bottom, it becomes difficult to squeeze it out from the bottom. The bigger size variant of 200ml comes in a pump packaging which I feel will be more convenient. Or even an inverted squeezable tube would have been better.

Vedic Line Sandalwood and Turmeric Face Wash has a thick gel-like consistency and a pretty golden yellow color. It has warm spicy aroma of sandalwood and turmeric. Not everyone would like it. But as I love sandalwood fragrances, I find it to be very soothing. Also, the pleasant smell lasts for sometime after washing.

Vedic Line Sandalwood and Turmeric Face Wash spreads easily on the face and lathers very less compared to usual face washes. It cleanses the face effectively and leaves the skin fresh and clean. My skin feels soft and there is no dryness at all. Also, I could notice a subtle glow to the skin though it doesn’t last long. Regarding the claims of toning, yes it is true, as I could feel my pores being smaller and face being smooth after washing.

Vedic Line Sandalwood and Turmeric Face Wash doesn’t have SLS and parabens in the ingredients list. Though, it has SLES which is a milder version of SLS. This also accounts for why it lathers less.

One last thing is, if you have very oily or acne-prone skin, this face wash might not suit you as it doesn’t give a deep cleansing effect.

Overall, Vedic Line Sandalwood and Turmeric Face Wash is a nice face wash with natural ingredients for normal to dry and mature skin. It cleanses the skin well without causing dryness. It gives a subtle glow and also tones the skin. Also, it is free from harsh chemicals like SLS and parabens.
