Vaadi Herbals Sunscreen Gel SPF-25 with Mix Fruit Extracts Review

Hello readers! I am back with another review – Vaadi Herbals Sunscreen Gel SPF-25 with Mix Fruit Extracts Review. Sunscreen is one product that is a must in everyone’s daily routine. Whether its summer or winter, whether you are staying home or going out, it is necessary to protect yourself from harmful UV rays all the time. But most sunscreens tend to be oily or greasy and leave a whitish cast which makes us hate them. I have never liked applying sunscreens as I have oily, sensitive skin and they feel heavy and uncomfortable. Vaadi Herbals Sunscreen Gel SPF-25 with Mix Fruit Extracts is a gel based sunscreen, and when I saw this gel sunscreen from Vaadi Herbals I wanted to try it out.

Vaadi Herbals Sunscreen Gel SPF-25 with Mix Fruit Extracts Review

Vaadi Herbals Sunscreen Gel SPF-25 with Mix Fruit Extracts contains the extracts of many fruits like orange, papaya, apricot, carrot and chamomile which are rich in antioxidants, vitamins and AHA. The ingredients list impressed me greatly as apart from providing sun protection, these fruit extracts also nourish the skin and keep it youthful. Read below my Vaadi Herbals Sunscreen Gel SPF-25 with Mix Fruit Extracts Review to know how the product fares.

My experience with Vaadi Herbals Sunscreen Gel SPF-25 with Mix Fruit Extracts

Vaadi Herbals Sunscreen Gel SPF-25 with Mix Fruit Extracts comes in a sturdy white plastic bottle with a flip-open cap. The product details are listed on the back side. Its not much of a fancy packaging, pretty boring, but at this price point, you can’t expect more.

Vaadi Herbals Sunscreen Gel SPF-25 with Mix Fruit Extracts is an orange-colored gel with medium consistency, neither too thick nor too thin. It has a very artificial talc-like fragrance which I hate. Also, the fragrance stays on for a long time, which makes it more annoying, as every time I take my hands close to my nose, I get this talc-like scent.

Vaadi Herbals Sunscreen Gel SPF-25 with Mix Fruit Extracts spreads easily and gets absorbed quickly. For face, you need to be careful to use only a little quantity as using too much makes the face look oily. Being a gel, it doesn’t feel greasy or heavy. But the sunscreen does feel little oily and I need to touch up with powder to give matte finish. Also, if its very hot, after a couple of hours, my face becomes oily again. So this Vaadi Herbals Sunscreen Gel is not the right product, if you are looking for a matte look. It is not suitable for very oily skin and hot, humid climates.

Vaadi Herbals Sunscreen Gel SPF-25 with Mix Fruit Extracts has decent sun protection and it prevented my skin from tanning. It doesn’t leave any ghost-like whitish cast like other sunscreens. Though I have sensitive skin, it hasn’t caused me any breakouts.

The major problem with Vaadi Herbals is although they have ‘herbals’ in their name, we don’t know whether there are any chemicals in their products, because they list only the active ingredients in all their products.

Overall, Vaadi Herbals Sunscreen Gel SPF-25 with Mix Fruit Extracts is an average sunscreen at a very affordable price. It contains the goodness of various fruit extracts which are beneficial for the skin. It also offers SPF-25 sun protection which is good enough if you are not outdoors much and spend time mostly inside office or home. It might not suit very oily skin people and those in hot, humid places. The artificial talc-like fragrance is a big turn-down however.

  1. I thought it will be matt since it’s a gel based. I guess I better skip it.
