Hey girls today I will share some information regarding Cannabis – the plant that’s often used in cosmetics, is said to have many skin boosting benefits. Cannabis may not be the first ingredient you would look for in your skin care product, but it is slowly becoming commonly used item in major beauty products internationally. Over the years, the fatty acid – rich oil – has been a part of shampoos, conditioners and creams of well known brands. Research shows that cannabis has anti oxidant properties that help soothe dry irritable skin; it is rich in omega 3, 6 and 9 oils and even has anti cancer properties.

1)     Cannabis has calming properties :

Cannabis is a great plant with anti inflammatory, moisturizing as well as soothing properties. There are many publications in scientific journals supporting its use in dry skin conditions diseases. It is very good in omega 3 fatty acid and also contains a large amount of vitamin A, B, D and E which are natural antioxidants.

2)     We have to be careful with using Cannabis :

There are some reports about its anti-inflammation properties. Hemp oil present in Cannabis is good for the treatment of dry skin and also helps in wound healing. Depending on our skin sensitivity, the product must be used so that it doesn’t leave any side effects.

3)     Cannabis are good for hair:

Hemp seed oil has been used in cosmetics throughout. This is because it contains lots of traces of cannabinoids. Hemp is ubiquitous in shampoos and conditioners as it’s a great emollient for healthy hairs. There are clinical research to show cannabinoids having ant-ageing properties and hence are used in anti –ageing serums and creams as active ingredients.
