Shahnaz Husain Nano Sunscreen Gel SPF 20 Review

Hello everyone! How are you all? Today my post is about Shahnaz Husain Nano Sunscreen Gel SPF 20 review. Summer is at its peak now in India. Blazing sun & too much heat is making life pretty difficult. No matter how much we want to stay indoor, most of us have to step out either for study or job. And it’s no less than a crime to go out in the sun without applying sunscreen. Over exposure to sun can cause pre-mature ageing, sunburn, wrinkles, skin cancer etc. Sunscreen is a very essential tool to fight against all these harmful effects of sun. Sunscreen has UV-blocking abilities, which help to keep skin safe from hazardous sun ray. Therefore, sunscreen is a must before stepping out in the sun.

My experience with Shahnaz Husain Nano Sunscreen Gel SPF 20

Let’s start with the packaging. Shahnaz Husain Nano Sunscreen Gel SPF 20 comes in a pump style bottle. The pump style dispenser is well protected with a transparent plastic cap. The cap doesn’t sit very tightly, hence not travel friendly packaging. The bottle comes in a carton box.

It’s a gel sunscreen and golden in color. The fragrance is nice and fresh. The key ingredients are aloe vera, cucumber, carrot seeds and sunflower. Aloe vera moisturizes and soothes skin and help treating sun burns. Cucumber soothes sunburn and rejuvenates skin. Carrot seeds have anti ageing & skin soothing properties. Sunflower is a rich source of vitamin E, which protect the skin cells from the harmful ultraviolet rays of sun.

Shahnaz Husain Nano Sunscreen Gel SPF 20 has UVA & UVB protection with PA+. It claims to be a 5 in 1 product with sun block, moisturizer, waterproof, non oily and anti-ageing properties. I usually apply this sunscreen gel 15-20 minutes before stepping out in the sun. It requires very less quantity. The gel is quite moisturizing, but doesn’t feel greasy on the skin. It takes a little time to get absorbed, but once it is absorbed no greasiness can be felt. As it claims, it is moisturizing, non-oily and waterproof. Another great thing is that it hasn’t yet broken me out.

One has to be careful while pumping out the gel, because a little more than required amount will give you a sticky feeling for some time. Another setback is that it contains paraben.

Overall, Shahnaz Husain Nano Sunscreen Gel SPF 20 is a good sunscreen especially for summer. It’s moisturizing, non oily and waterproof. It’s ideal for face and neck and can also be used on hands too. So if you are looking for a decent moisturizing sunscreen, give it a try.
