Sebastian Professional Volupt Spray Review

Hi all 🙂 I am back with another review. And this time a hair care product – Sebastian Professional Volupt Spray Review. I have very fine hair which looks flat so am always in the hunt for volume building shampoos, conditioners and sprays. True to say, the best way to get thick, voluminous hair is natural remedies at home. Volume building products only add a temporary lift to the hair to give fuller look. But while we can continue with natural remedies regularly, it doesn’t hurt to also add such products in our routine.

Sebastian Professional Volupt Spray Review

Sebastian Professional is a range of high-end salon products for hair care. I have tried their shampoo and liked it. The availability of the products is an issue and mostly found only in Wella salons. But some online shopping sites now-a-days stock them up. This Sebastian Professional Volupt Spray belongs to the Volupt range and there is also a shampoo and conditioner from the same range. Read on my Sebastian Professional Volupt Spray Review to know how it performs.

Price of Sebastian Professional Volupt Spray : Rs.450/- for 50 ml.

My experience with Sebastian Professional Volupt Spray

Sebastian Professional Volupt Spray comes in a black colored plastic bottle with a pump spray mechanism for dispensing the product. There is a plastic cap covering the pump. The packaging is very sleek and compact and can easily fit in your handbag.

Sebastian Professional Volupt Spray is colorless and looks just like water with a very light texture. The fragrance is pleasant, slightly on the sweeter side. It lingers for a long time and makes hair smell refreshing. I spray two pumps to cover my hair lengths and rub gently. It is quickly absorbed without any oiliness or greasiness. You can either blow-dry your hair after applying or let it air-dry.

After drying, I can feel my hair looking more voluminous and bouncy. Also, my hair becomes softer and smoother. It doesn’t feel heavy or feel like I have applied anything at all. The effect lasts for an entire day after which it weighs down my hair. And the next day, it is a must to wash my hair, else it becomes very greasy and frizzy. However, the product has a whole lot of chemicals in it and reading the ingredients list itself is just scary. You can use it once in a while for some special occasions or events. But I wouldn’t recommend regular usage.

Overall, Sebastian Professional Volupt Spray does it what it claims, adds nice volume and bounce to the hair. But it is just a temporary effect and by the end of the day, hair feels greasy and frizzy, due to the many chemicals. It can be used once in a while for special events but not recommended for regular use.
