Satveda Chandan Haldi Moisturizer Review

Hello gorgeous ladies 🙂 Here I am with another review – Satveda Chandan Haldi Moisturizer Review. These two ingredients- haldi and chandan have been staples in Indian skin care regimen. Aren’t they? While chandan is immensely useful in eliminating the excess oil that one’s sebaceous glands secret thereby making one’s face look oily, haldi is packed with anti-bacterial and anti-microbial properties which helps a great deal in imparting a healthy sheen to one’s skin 🙂

Satveda Chandan Haldi Moisturizer Review

Having used two moisturizers from the same brand before which are Satveda rose honey moisturizer as well as Satveda almond saffron moisturizer, I had sky-high expectations from this one more importantly because it had my favourite natural ingredients- haldi as well as chandan. So, without deviating any more from the topic, let’s begin with Satveda Chandan Haldi Moisturizer Review.

Satveda Chandan Haldi Moisturizer pack

Price of Satveda Chandan Haldi Moisturizer : Rs.250/- for 200 g

Directions for use : Take an adequate amount of this moisturizer onto your palm. Gently apply on your body. Can be used every day.

Key Ingredients : Chandan, haldi, chandan oil, kesar, Aloe vera, Vitamin E, Glycerine and oil.

Shelf life : 2 years from the date of manufacturing.

Color : the lightest possible of yellow

Smell : A very mild almost negligible fragrance of haldi as well as chandan. It is very mild so, you might even find it without any fragrance. It is fine for me because that shows at least it hasn’t been laced with any artificial fragrance just to attract customers.

My experience with Satveda Chandan Haldi Moisturizer

Packed in the usual ‘Satveda style’ transparent plastic bottle with a very sturdy cap on top and an additional plastic cap inside (which you can either pierce to make holes or remove solely as per your discretion), I find the packaging sturdy, hygienic, spillage- free (because of teh double-layer packaging) and travel-friendly. It like its other variants, is also up to the mark when it comes to packaging 🙂

The lightweight, non-greasy, non-oily and creamy texture of the moisturizer makes it a cakewalk to apply it on skin. In fact, a pea-sized amount is sufficient to apply on one’s face as well as neck. So, one bottle of Satveda Chandan Haldi Moisturizer will last one long 🙂 My skin type is dry and its moisturisation power is praiseworthy. I keeps my skin usually hydrated for 4-4.5 hours during winters. Of course, when I venture out, the moisturisation doesn’t remain intact or unaffected. When outside, it keeps my skin well-moisturised for a good 2.5-3 hours which I feel to be good again given my skin type (dry) and the chill in the weather.

Given its commendable moisturization power on dry skin, I feel it’ll quench the thirst for hydration for other skin types for a longer duration 🙂 And you can even use it during summers although the quantity to be used should be ideally reduced since our skin sweats during summers.

My skin feels soft, smooth and supple post application and there’s a very faint sheen/glow to my face too. It is ‘faint’ and not like those photoshopped “fair” pictures that make you frown!

I have just one qualm with Satveda Chandan Haldi Moisturizer. Only key ingredients are mentioned and since it has a shelf life of 2 years, it definitely means that it must have some chemicals or preservatives added to it. Anyway, since it has worked well for my skin, is used economically by me and contains the extracts of so many natural ingredients, I can turn a blind eye to this one issue 🙂

On the whole, Satveda Chandan Haldi Moisturizer?softens, smoothens and hydrates one’s skin well and is suitable for all skin types. It is a good moisturizer and economical too.
