Hello Readers, today I’m going to share Sand for Soapaholics Virgin Mix Henna Review. Hair color to a person is like what salt is to a foodie. We do not realize how significant it is unless it is missing. In fact grey hair can be the reason of low self esteem as the person having grey hair at a younger age is the butt of jokes everywhere. Although ammonia free colors have been trending in the market since a few years yet they are not non toxic or absolutely safe. Thus I picked a pure henna mix with hopes of coloring hair without worrying about hair damage.
Sand for Soapaholics Virgin Mix Henna is a power packed with ingredients like henna and cocoa butter which act as deep conditioners, curry leaves help create highlights while sesame oil leave that glossy spa finish. Being non toxic it is suitable for all skin types. Besides hydrating and making hair more manageable, it adds a natural undertone of color which complements ones skin tone too. My experience with Sand for Soapaholics Virgin Mix Henna
Sand for Soapaholics Virgin Mix Henna has a soft granular texture and usually comes packed in their signature tubs unless thats out of stock like what happened with me. One can purchase online or offline (if you are in Bangalore). Their store looks like an ice cream parlor where you go and order what you want and then they weight the same before packing. The whole process is done keeping hygiene issues in mind which is very impressive plus the store assistants are friendly enough to help you.
This is basically a non toxic hair color which has purest form of henna and other goodies infused in it. Sand for Soapaholics Virgin Mix Henna is somewhat granular which softens and gradually gets mixed to form a paste. It does smell like henna but has other ingredients too which makes it smell sweet. I wanted my hair colored so as per directions soaked this overnight in hot tea. The ratio of tea to virgin mix can only be summed up like mix a little tea every time and keep doing this until you form a nice creamy paste. The very next day I applied the mixture from roots to ends and wore a shower cap for next 2 hours and finally washed it off. The minimum time is 40 minutes but I wanted strong hint of color so had to leave it longer.
Rinsing Sand for Soapaholics Virgin Mix Henna is definitely as messy as henna but then it happens only once a while. Do not dare to skip shampoo after this as it makes hair sticky unless its last traces are completely washed off. As seen in the pictures, I already had highlights done three months back but that had faded with time. In one use it did not impart heavy duty color but intensified my previous hair color. My highlights looked darker in daylight. Plus its deep conditioning properties made my hair softer and glossier. There was no frizzy hair rather they were easy to detangle too. Although its multiple times costlier than a regular size henna packet but it is nothing close to the price tag of a professional spa. Only con is that one might have to continue with a few more applications to finally get hair colored satisfactorily without compromising with the health of the scalp.
Overall Sand for Soapaholics Virgin Mix Henna is totally worth an investment made as it intensifies hair color, softens and smoothens the strands, calms down frizz and all that without hurting the pocket much.
