Rishimukh Thulasi Beauty Soap Review

Girls, I am back with Rishimukh Thulasi Beauty Soap Review this time. The wonder plant Tulsi is revered for its therapeutic, healing and anit-carcinogenic properties. It won’t be hyperbolic to say that there won’t be any Indian household without a Tulsi plant/pot in their vicinity 🙂 Not only is it highly advantageous and fruitful when applied externally (for instance- as a mixture of curd with mashed tulsi leaves) but also it beneficial for improving one’s health and vitality when consumed daily (3-4 leaves every morning). Having a bath daily with a soap that is loaded with the virtues of tulsi would be a treat for one’s skin. Won’t it? 🙂

My experience with Rishimukh Thulasi Beauty Soap

Packed in an prepossessing cardboard shell with a thread fastening it and a plastic package covering the main soap, Rishimukh Thulasi Beauty Soap’s packaging is comely, innovative and sturdy. It definitely is not travel-friendly. Once used, stashing it back in the cardboard shell will be inconvenient. The froth and liquid will spoil the cardboard. One needs to necessarily purchase a soap holder to use it. This means it is not travel-friendly. So, on one hand while the packaging is innovative and eye-pleasing, it is not travel-friendly.

The soap isn’t too thick like commercial soaps. One can surely cut it into pieces using a knife to use as per convenience and avert wastage. Once rubbed on skin, it produces a fine lather and its gentle aroma permeates the air 🙂 I have dry skin and contrary to my expectations, it didn’t make my skin feel stretched post usage. However, there wasn’t much in the name of moisturisation. It cools one’s skin, refreshes it, removes every speck of dirt and dust and cleanses well but does not impart any glow. Since it is handmade, I find it apt for use by all skin types but I don’t think it would be suitable for those with extremely dry/parched skin.

I won’t recommend those with dry/parched skin to use it during winters because during winters our skin is in dire need of hydration and soaps sap it. Though it is handmade, yet its TFM is only 72% which puts it in the second grade of soaps. TFM stands for “Total Fatty Material”. The higher the TFM, the better is the cleansing effect of the soap. Soaps with a TFM equal to r greater than 76% are the finest quality soaps (Grade 1) whereas those with a TFM equal to 70% or less than 76% are in the second Grade which this soap is in.

On the whole, Rishimukh Thulasi Beauty Soap is suitable for use by all (except extremely dry skin) and by dry skin during winters. It cleanses one’s skin well, refreshes it and cools it (which is a boon during summers) but doesn’t work wonders in imparting radiance. On the whole, it’s a good solution for normal cleansing but does nothing more than this.
