My experience with Oriflame Pure Nature Organic Burdock Extract Purifying Clay Mask

Packed in a plastic tube with a cap at its end, the packaging of Oriflame Pure Nature Organic Burdock Extract Purifying Clay Mask is hygienic, sturdy and spillage-free. I wish it had a flip-open cap for that could have facilitated use but never the less, the current packaging too is fine. However, since there is scope for improvement so I would not eulogise the packaging. In a nutshell, for me the packaging is fine.

The texture of Oriflame Pure Nature Organic Burdock Extract Purifying Clay Mask is neither runny nor thick. It is like that of any typical pre-packaged face mask. I mix a little water and apply it on my face as well as neck. Since it is neither thick nor overly runny, doing so is a cakewalk 🙂 On the flipside, a pea-sized amount seems too less so, those with oily/extremely oily skin may require a little more than other skin types. It dries up easily within 10 minutes and washing it is again easy. Just splash abundant cold water!

What you’ll end up with would be a refreshed, slightly radiant and tangibly softer skin. The glow, however is transient so please do not expect to beam like a newly-wed 🙂 I have dry skin and this product is specifically targeted and tailor-made for those with either normal or oily skin so I cannot pin the blame on the producers for manufacturing something which sapped moisture off my skin. In fact, it didn’t rip moisture off my skin which is pleasantly surprising. That said, I won’t recommend it to those with dry skin. Why?

Because firstly, the producers have themselves specified beforehand that this clay mask is earmarked for normal and oily skin types. And secondly, just because my skin type is dry and this didn’t cause any dryness doesn’t mean that it won’t dry out your skin. Everyones’ skin type varies and within every skin type, there are varying degrees say of-dryness, oiliness, sensitivity, etc.

A major con is that is loaded with a number of parabens which as we all know, wreak havoc on skin. So, if you are going to grab it, use it cautiously else, steer clear 🙂

Overall, Oriflame Pure Nature Organic Burdock Extract Purifying Clay Mask ?is a good bet for those with normal and oily skin. It helps to soften, brighten and clear skin. The effects are of course, temporary so use it when an inevitable event occurs and you run short of time. There’s no point in pumping chemicals (read: parabens in the ingredients) in your skin in a slavish manner in the hope of rejuvenating it.
