My experience with Nivea Vitamin Shake Cranberry & Raspberry Lip Balm

Nivea Vitamin Shake Cranberry & Raspberry Lip Balm comes in a sleek twist-up chapstick tube just like the other Nivea lip balms. The stick is beautiful pink in color, but not plain pink. It has swirls interspersing giving it a marbled look. Just like a fruit shake. The stick is very soft and melts during summers.

Nivea Vitamin Shake Cranberry & Raspberry Lip Balm has a sweet fruity flavor though I feel its a little artificial, but not overpowering. The flavor lasts for a short time on lips and then fades away.

Nivea Vitamin Shake Cranberry & Raspberry Lip Balm has a soft, smooth texture and glides on the lips easily. It moisturises lip pretty well and also gives a natural rosy tint. The tint is not so prominent like the Fruity Shine range. Rather it blends in with the natural lip color and almost looks like a lip gloss giving healthy, pinkish, shiny lips. It has a decent staying power for 2-3 hours. Also it provides SPF-10 protection against sun.

Nivea Vitamin Shake Cranberry & Raspberry Lip Balm moisturizes lip adequately but it doesn’t heal or repair lips. So if you have chapped or cracked lips, it might not work. Also, if you don’t exfoliate your lips, it becomes difficult to glide on. I am slightly disappointed with this, as seeing the vitamin enriched claims, I expected it to heal and work on chapped lips. But its just like a usual tinted lip balm. Also, applying more than two swipes might give too much of an undesirable sheen.

Overall, Nivea Vitamin Shake Cranberry & Raspberry Lip Balm is a nice tinted lip balm which gives lips a natural, healthy and pinkish glow. It is enriched with vitamin E, C and B5. It moisturizes lips and makes it soft and smooth. Though, it doesn’t help to heal or repair already chapped lips.
