Nivea Lip Butter Blueberry Blush Review

Hello Readers, I am going to review Nivea Lip Butter Blueberry Blush. This column has something new to offer every single day and while going through its posts, often I get a new addition to my wishlist. Here is one of them which I grabbed after one of its variant got reviewed over here which made me fall for these lip balms. More than its claims and benefits I wanted to get this for that cute little tin in which it comes packed. Just look at it, is it worth skipping? I don’t think so 🙂

Nivea Lip Butter Blueberry Blush Review

Nivea Lip Butter Blueberry Blush is innovatively designed and packed in a tin as it is meant to deliver long lasting hydration to the lips and an added aromatic treat of Blueberries. There are other variants to pick namely-Caramel Cream, Rasperry Rose and Cocoa. Being formulated with Hydra IQ, it contains shea butter and almond oil which aids the lip butter to melt on lips while restoring the suppleness of the lips. Move on to my Nivea Lip Butter Blueberry Blush Review below and see how it worked for me.

My experience with Nivea Lip Butter Blueberry Blush

Nivea Lip Butter Blueberry Blush has a flat tin like container packaging which is good enough to be slipped inside the slimmest of pockets. The tin is very feminine as it offers a visual treat of blueberries on it and more than a regular lip product I would consider this as a limited edition. Everything is fine from availability to price but what bothers me is that one needs super strong nails to open this. Often the cover gets stuck and one has to make funny faces while putting in efforts to open it.

One simply has to swirl the finger over it and pick up the lip butter, instead of digging out the product with dirty nails. As its name suggests, it is creamy smooth and rich like butter which is easy to apply on the lips. The first thing which one would notice is the yummy blueberry fragrance, it feels like savouring same flavored toffee and this keeps coming back for sometime whenever I rub my lips together. Even the finish is quite good as it does not give that disco shiny effect which a petroleum jelly does. Rather the shine looks natural and balanced.

The hydrating power is commendable as once applied it easily stays for a few hours. In between if I have a light meal or water, the layer applied actually vanishes away. However the lips still feel soft and moisturized. If someone already has dry lips then it is better to start with exfoliation and follow with this lip butter. It takes care of the repairing process and delivers nourished and soft lips. Also if someone intends to wear this under a matte or drying lip color then it is better to wear this 10-15 mins before and then apply lipstick over it to prevent the lip butter from messing up the lipstick. Apart from this only con is the lack of some hint of color but undoubtedly it is a paisa vasool product.

Overall Nivea Lip Butter Blueberry Blush is a splendid lip nourishing butter in an eye catching packaging which restores the softness of lips as promised.

  1. I wanted to try this one, Juthika but somewhere the fragrance of coffee compelled me to opt for the coffee variant. Also, the coffee variant has a very light brown tint so that goes well with Indian skin shades. Well a articulated 🙂 And thanks for the subtle mention 😉

  2. I have used this…it’s extremely moisturizing
