Naturence Herbals Aloe Vera Gel Review

Hi friends! I am back with another post – Naturence Herbals Aloe Vera Gel Review. One would probably run out of ways on how to use this miraculous plant called Aloe vera (Ghritkumari and at times, only kumaari in Hindi) but this plant will never cease to amaze you with its virtues. Its application albeit a regular one, on ones skin gets one supple, radiant, beaming and clear skin. Its application on ones scalp nourishes it and stimulates hair growth. When taken internally of course, in a limited dosage, it resuscitates ones health.

Naturence Herbals Aloe Vera Gel Review

A lot many of us may not have access to an Aloe vera plant in their vicinity owing to space and time constraints ergo, compelling us to opt for the Aloe vera gels that come in tubs and tubes. I didn’t know how to extract the juice/gel of an Aloe vera plant which is why I bought Naturence Herbals Aloe Vera Gel. Today, I will review it and let you know how it fared on my parameters of evaluation. Read below my Naturence Herbals Aloe Vera Gel Review and find out if this pre-packaged alternative is anywhere close to the raw natural one that ideally should be relied upon 🙂

My experience with Naturence Herbals Aloe Vera Gel

Packed in a rotund plastic tub with a plastic cap on top that come in a cardboard box, the double-layer packaging of Naturence Herbals Aloe Vera Gel works well for me to an extent. While some may find it eye-pleasing yet the drawback of coming in a tub clouds my mind during perusal. It is undoubtedly sturdy, travel-friendly and leakage-free but every time one has to use it, s/he needs to dip their fingers in the tub and to avert spoilage/contamination of any kind, one has to ensure squeaky clean hands. On the whole it is slightly underwhelming for me in terms of packaging.

Naturence Herbals Aloe Vera Gel has a gel-like texture. It is not thick or glutinous so, application is a cakewalk. It also gets absorbed in the skin within 5-6 minutes. However, I have not found anything praiseworthy about it. Why? Because I have used raw aloe vera juice (extracted by someone else) and used it religiously on my skin and hair for a fortnight and I could see visible results but thats not the case with this product. The only use to which I can judiciously put it to is to slather a pea-sized amount of it on my eyebrows and the area contingent to it for I can’t tolerate alcohol-laden toners once my eyebrows are threaded.

Naturence Herbals Aloe Vera Gel?is undoubtedly budget-friendly but mistaking it for real/raw/freshly extracted Aloe vera gel would be nave. It, just like all the other Aloe vera gels in the market. There’s nothing praiseworthy about it. If you are fine with putting that on your skin, go ahead. If not, buy a real Aloe vera plant. That’ll serve all your beauty needs for long.

  1. I love aloevera gels. I have one from Patanjali and I use it almost everyday.

    • I too, am a diehard Aloe user GKK but my concern is why are they fooling us by calling a simple green-coloured gel “Aloe vera gel” when we clearly know that real Aloe vera gel doesn’t stay fresh for even one complete day?
Moreover, if they’ve added preservatives to it, why not furnish it on the product’s pack? Isn’t this very evasive and irresponsible on their part? So, that’s why I panned it 🙂

  2. This is same like patanjali. They both look same and very far from natural aloe. Great review!

    • Ankita, we are in the same boat. I can’t fathom how can a gel-like substance which an uncanny green hue be Aloe vera gel when real alie vera doesn’t even have a colour of itself? I’m even wary of Patanjali’s aloe vera whose ingredients’ list itself mentions the use of some chemical preservatives. Now no matter how much anyone says that they have been formulated for skin care and it’s benefitting them, I can’t turn a blind eye to the fact that it isn’t aloe vera gel in the first place. It’s JUST a gel. Nothing more. Don’t fool people by terming it “Aloe vera gel”. Phew! I ranted like maniac:P

  3. awwww…i have used such nice aloe vera gels…that i was shocked to see 0 rating…such a dud product

    • Pallavi, that is the case with all the Aloe vera gels in the market. I talked to a dermatologist and she told me that real Aloe vera cannot stay fresh after 30 minutes so, what we see in the market as Aloe Vera gel is nowhere close to Aloe vera. it is simply put- A green coloured gel that has chemicals which work to lighten one’s complexion temporarily thereby lulling us into complacency!
