My Simple Makeup Look for Christmas – Winter festivities are full on with Christmas is just around the corner. And everyone is busy now planning for Christmas, what to eat, where to go and of course makeup look for Christmas. So I thought why not help you out with this makeup tutorial on My Simple Makeup Look for Christmas. Winter brings lots of changes with it, like change in our wardrobe, in our food habit, our skin care and our makeup as well. Winter, being a ‘party season’ gives us a number of opportunities to experiment with our makeup looks. Winter makeup is all about glowing face and bright hues to bring warmth to the chilly winter weather. My Simple Makeup Look for Christmas is exactly that. So let’s check out how I created the look.
My Simple Makeup Look for Christmas
Base Makeup
Since its winter, so moisturizer should be the first thing to apply on a clean face. For my base, I used Maybelline Fit Me Matte Poreless Foundation. It provides a natural looking matte finish and makes skin look even toned, healthy and beautiful. For my concealer, I have chosen my all time favorite LOreal Paris True Match Concealer which again gives a very natural finish. I use the shade ‘medium’ which is just perfect for my wheatish complexion. Once done with foundation and concealer, I sealed my base makeup with L’Oreal Mat Magique All-In-One Matte Transforming Powder. So base makeup is done and its time to move onto eye makeup now.
Eye Makeup
Before eye makeup, its important to do the eye brows as they play a vital part in enhancing our overall look. I filled in my brows with a brown eye shadow which goes well with my skin tone. On my lids, I applied eye shadows from Makeup Revolution Girls on Film Eyeshadow Palette. This eye shadow palette is my current favorite. It has got a nice mix of shimmery and matte shades and its versatile enough to let you play with different styles of eye makeup. I used Johara Expert Pen Eyeliner to line my eyes and put the look together with generous coats of my favorite Maybelline The Magnum Barbie Mascara on both my upper and lower lashes.

Face Makeup
Christmas makeup is all about glowing face and a good highlighter is must for that. I have used L’Oreal Paris Lucent Magique Blush of Light Glow Palette here for my blush and highlighter. I have the ‘Blushing Kiss’ variant with a gorgeous light pinkish highlighter and coral blush. Finally, on my lips I applied L’oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Lipstick Glamor Fuchsia. Its a vibrant fuchsia pink shade and goes well with the festive vibe around.
Don’t forget to accessorize the look with statement neck piece and ear rings. Since the makeup look is quite simple, so I would suggest you to go heavy with jewelry to balance the look well.
