L’Oreal Paris Total Repair 5 Repairing Conditioner Review

Heya all 🙂 I am back with L’Oreal Paris Total Repair 5 Repairing Conditioner Review. That glossy and glistening tinge of a lady’s crowning glory (hair in other words), which compel you to turn and take a second, more careful albeit a slightly envious look to her hair. You wonder, now in pessimsim as to when and more importantly how will you get those shiny tresses. Perhaps, it calls for inspection of your hair care weapons. I am talking about none other than your shampoo and conditioner. It is when it comes to conditioning our hair after shampooing, where most women skip the former step thinking often in complacency that conditioning is meant for dry, damaged and lifeless hair. That is where most of us go wrong.

Conditioning is as essential as shampooing is in itself. It forms that protective layer on your hair in addition to providing that much needed gloss. Few days ago I had reviewed LOreal Paris Total Repair 5 Repairing Shampoo on Bhb. And today I will be sharing L’Oreal Paris Total Repair 5 Repairing Conditioner Review, which is of course from the same range. Let’s see whether the product lives up to the hype around it or is a classic case of ‘All sizzle no steak”. Check out L’Oreal Paris Total Repair 5 Repairing Conditioner Review below.

My experience with L’Oreal Paris Total Repair 5 Repairing Conditioner

Packed in a plastic tube with a flip-top cap, L’Oreal Paris Total Repair 5 Repairing Conditioner bottle is sturdy, hygienic, and easy to carry. These make the product travel-friendly and hence, I consider it up to the mark when it comes to packaging.

The texture of L’Oreal Paris Total Repair 5 Repairing Conditioner is creamy and is very easy to apply. Most conditioners have a creamy texture so it doesn’t come as a surprise too. The aroma is exactly like that of its shampoo which means it will last at the most for a day. It works very well in taming frizz and dryness temporarily. It seals in moisture well and makes my tresses soft but of course, its effect reduces with time.

A major concern of mine is that L’Oreal Paris Total Repair 5 Repairing Conditioner is loaded with an alarming number of chemicals some of which are really detrimental when used on hair. such as- alcohol. No matter how much it benefits your hair as well as scalp at the moment, it is bound to leave you with a long list of hair problems in the long run and hopefully a few hair strands on you head too!

Limited usage or infrequent usage would not do much harm but don’t go overboard with it after all, it is already warning you covertly by mentioning conspicuously on its package that it contains so and so chemicals.

Overall, L’Oreal Paris Total Repair 5 Repairing Conditioner is a useful and effective conditioner but it also comes with its fair share of drawbacks (that is, transient effects and perturbing chemical composition). I do not wish to dissuade you from using shampoos and conditioner but I just intend to notify you that you have been informed about is composition so if you want to go ahead with it, use minimal quantities and give you hair sufficient time to repair itself too (that is, don’t use it often).

  3. I used to use this couple of years back but stopped it due to the long list of chemicals it had

  4. I have used this conditioner many times 🙂 Good review 🙂

  5. Thanks everyone 🙂
Yes, it’s a good conditioner. It shows effects but the effects are temporary. And I find the cost of using such a conditioner (which is the amount of chemicals in it) a little too high than the benefits (softness, etc.)
But still, it is worth trying since it delivers results 🙂
    And thanks for reading.
