Livon Moroccan Silk Serum Review

Hello Readers, I am going to review Livon Moroccan Silk Serum. Women with coarse and dry hair like mine cannot do without a hair serum or a leave in conditioner. If by any means I miss applying my hair masque I know how dreadful the sight would be to see numerous strands of hair suck to my hair brush. Thus I always keep a hair serum to tame flyways and of course the most important part i.e. to detangle my hair. And how can I forget that natural shine and a mesmerizing fragrance which only a leave in treatment can add. So lets check Livon Moroccan Silk Serum review

My experience with Livon Moroccan Silk Serum

I was pleasantly surprised when I looked at the packaging of Livon Moroccan Silk Serum. A pink box has been used to pack the product. What made me extremely happy was the pink girly spray bottle which has been used to market the product. I mean just look at it, it is so stylish and it feels like you own something very feminine. The fragrance this serum has is amazing such that immediately after application anybody would feel that it is your perfume not your hair serum. The pump dispenser gives out the proper quantity required and I use 3 pumps or so for my mid length hair.

This silk serum is very lightweight and non sticky, even if someone applies excess amount, it won’t impart an oily look like other serums. Plus this serum consists of UV filters to protect hair against the harmful rays of the sun. As we all know that a serum works best on wet hair so does the instructions of this leave in treatment say. I take the required quantity in my palms and spread it gently along the length of my hair. As directed I start from the mid length and continue till the ends. We also have a video shared by our lovely Kiran showing how to apply hair serum properly. Whatever is left onto the palm after applying is to be applied on the top part of hair for shine and frizz control. Next the hair is to be left for air drying or styled as per desire.

I am super happy to have picked up this serum. It adds a nice shine and makes hair free from tangles. Before using a comb I use my fingers to detangle hair and voila very seldom does my fingers get stuck in between the knots of hair. Even if I find knots, they are so easy to fix too. I tried this on my towel dried hair the day I had skipped my conditioner, and let it air dry. I cannot explain how beautifully I could still run my fingers through the strands. It made my super dry hair so easy to detangle. I think that is the magic of Argan oil. Honestly I did not like Livon ever because it made my hair look as if I had applied oil, but this variant gets absorbed and there is no greasiness left behind. The effect stays for two days too. Just that it does not do anything great for frizz control otherwise this is a must try product.

Overall Livon Moroccan Silk Serum is a super affordable Moroccan Argan oil serum which acts as good as high end serums. It is absolutely non- sticky which helps detangle hair and makes it smooth and shiny too.

  8. Hey! You have nicely reviewed the product. I have very long hair(below hips). These days, my hair get tangled after every wash. I have silky soft hair. Shall I give it a try to fix tangling issue? Can I use serum after conditioning my hair(do answer this part)?

  9. Hey Garima 🙂 Sorry for late reply . If you want to get tangle free hair then just serum will not do. Replace your conditioner with a good hair mask and apply from mid lenth to the ends. this will make them silky and even then if you have tangles then go ahead with this serum next. you can also pick a good tangle teezer or detangling comb to detangle hair with ease 🙂
