What Lakme Absolute White Intense Concealer Stick Claims
Bid adieu to blemishes and dark circles with the Lakmé Absolute White Intense Concealer Stick.
My Experience with Lakme Absolute White Intense Concealer Stick
Lakme Absolute products are so easy to locate and their sales people are extremely helpful too. From having huge testers at the counters to innumerable shades and textures that suit varied tastes. I picked up the shade medium to dark in concealer as I have fair complexion with yellow undertones. The other shade of the concealer was too white for me. Moreover the rule of the thumb in make up says that concealers should be of darker shade than the complexion and not lighter. Only dark shades can conceal dark spots and not light shades.
The design of this stick concealer is like a twist up lipstick that’s easy to glide onto skin while maintaining good hygiene. All I have to do is apply it directly onto my spots and under eyes and blend it immediately with my fingers. After waiting for a minute to let it settle down I start my face make up. It conceales my dark under eyes and other spots definitely but the blending needs patience. Having a texture that’s in between creamy and waxy, it is easy to swipe and blend without finishing off the product faster.
It sits in place really long without looking patchy or uneven. While gliding it onto the skin, it does not form crumbles or get wasted in any manner, thanks to the twist up design. Moreover it does not smell funny and once blended it gives an even and smooth look to the area. Having a spf value as high as 20, it gives excellent protection to the skin against the sun. As it comes packed in a sleek lipstick like tube it can easily be carried anywhere in a small purse. The best part of this concealer is that it does not need loose powder or compact to set too.
Thankfully there are no tall claims from the company but there are some downsides to this concealer. It conceals flaws but if not blended properly then it settles in between lines which make under eyes look patchy. Also there are only two shades available which makes the risk of landing with the wrong shade much larger. This is best suited for normal to oily skin and not so good for dry skinned beauties. If someone can overlook these limitations, then this is decent concealer at an affordable price.
This is a decent affordable concealer that hides marks and spots giving you a flawless complexion but blending is the real trick.
