Hello Readers, I am going to review a beautiful gloss from the Lakme Absolute Gloss Stylist Range and is Lakme Absolute Gloss Stylist Rust Crush Review. A lip gloss can do complete justice to any make up look whether it’s a party look or an everyday casual look or a wet look etc. Most of us buy glosses of the same color of the lipsticks we own so as to complete the color with this shiny fluid. I prefer wearing highly pigmented glosses on bare lips and less pigmented ones over lipsticks. I purchased this shade Rust Crush to top it over my coral lip colors.
Lakme Absolute Gloss Stylist Range of Lip glosses are available in six shades- berry Cherry, Burgundy Burn, Neon Pink, Pink Pout, Rust Crush and Coral Sunset. This range has shades solely from the pink and the coral family. The unique formula is used to create a professional finish gloss with high coverage and lacquered finish for super glossy lips.

My experience with Lakme Absolute Gloss Stylist Rust Crush
Like any other lip gloss it comes packed in a nice plastic lip gloss tube with a long applicator. The design of the gloss tube is flat and unique and its transparent body shows the actual shade of the gloss it contains. The whole Lakme Absolute Range actually looks very sophisticated and nice to carry around. I believe the gloss tube is not easily breakable and the cap is tight enough to avoid spillages. Its light weight body and sleek design makes this easy to be slipped in small pockets with much ease.
Among the six shades Rust Crush and Coral Sunset are quite similar while the former is a less pigmented coral shade which I have. The texture of Lakme Absolute Gloss Stylist Rust Crush lip gloss is light and non sticky. These two features are most important in a lip gloss as most of them give that stickiness such that streaks of hairs start getting stuck to the lips with a small gush of air. I wear this both over a lip color and sometimes without lip color beneath it. Wearing Lakme Absolute Gloss Stylist Rust Crush over a lipstick actually lengthens the staying power of the lip color and it does survive light meals in between.
When I want to create a very subtle look I wear this on bare lips because of its low pigmentation. The color shown on the gloss tube is almost nothing when worn on lips. At this price a lip color is actually expected to be of good pigmentation but it fails on this part. On the other hand the wand of Lakme Absolute Gloss Stylist Rust Crush gloss brings out very small quantity of lip gloss every time I dip it into the gloss which is again a downside to this lip color. In short it does not totally justify the price we pay looking at the sheer pigmentation. On a happy note it stays on lips alone for 3 plus hours and does not leave behind any stain as such.
Overall Lakme Absolute Gel Stylist Lip Gloss Rust Crush is a subtle coral shade which looks very faint on bare lips and beautiful over a coral lipstick. Its good points are good staying power and non sticky light consistency. Somehow I think it could have been more pigmented for the price we pay.
