Hello readers! It’s time to share another review with you all – KLF Nirmal Extra Virgin Coconut Oil Review. The earthy aroma, yellow to golden color and luxurious feel of coconut oil taken together make it a staple in Indian hair care routine. I myself remember this golden elixir cascading down locks in childhood. Warm coconut oil massages for hair care were an unsaid but unanimously agreed rule in our home 🙂 But with the advent of teenage, the rebel in me protested against any kind of oiling because apparently the imbecile notion that “Hair oils are useless. They just make one’s hair smelly” which usually takes place in schools became a dictum for me. Peer pressure, after all, does teach you a few lessons later in life.
After almost a year of zero hair oiling, when my hair looked no less than a toilet cleaning brush’s bristles, I finally decided to chuck this asinine notion of “No oiling”. My hair was in dire need of nourishment and one day, I came across KLF Nirmal Extra Virgin Coconut Oil. Without a second thought, I bought it (I knew that the “virgin” variant was more effective than others due to less processing). Having used it for some years now, I am in a position to weigh its pros and cons. So, today I will share my experience with the same. Check out my KLF Nirmal Extra Virgin Coconut Oil Review below.

What KLF Nirmal Extra Virgin Coconut Oil claims
Nirmal Virgin is a premium cold-pressed virgin coconut oil extracted from fresh coconuts. Virgin coconut oil is known to be a treasure trove of nutrients and lauric acid (monolaurin derived from lauric acid is found in mother’s milk).
My experience with KLF Nirmal Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
Packed in a white-colored plastic bottle with a cap on top (and a nozzle already perforated inside that), KLF Nirmal Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, is sturdy, spillage-free and travel-friendly. Also, there’s an additional layer of packaging inside the cap which has to be removed to release the oil. All in all, it’s definitely up to the mark for me in terms of packaging.
Now comes the surprising part. It is lightweight and colorless! Yes, all those coconut oils you have come across would either be heavy or with a strong as well as noticeable fragrance (can be called “smell” for some too ). But KLF Nirmal Extra Virgin Coconut Oil isn’t like those. When it says virgin, it is actually virgin coconut oil 🙂
I have used this oil both for my hair by warming adequate quantity in an iron vessel and cooking a few neem leaves in it too and then massaged it on my scalp. My scalp felt relaxed unlike in case of other coconut oils which make you feel that something heavy has been slapped on your head! Also, when I apply my mixture of curd as well as fenugreek powder (sometimes Etheric’s rose petals powder) the next morning, the oil doesn’t play a spoilsport. The mixture spreads conveniently without slipping. My hair feel softened now as compared to what their condition was in that year when I had given up on hair oiling.
I even use KLF Nirmal Extra Virgin Coconut Oil at times to massage my cuticles and they feel strengthened 🙂 I feel it’s a boon for dry as well as normal hair. It can be used by oily skin too but the quantity to be used should be less because applying more oil on an already oily scalp simply attracts dust and dirt. The fact that it freezes completely during winters when the mercury falls down, is testimony to its purity 🙂
KLF Nirmal Extra Virgin Coconut Oil is amazing for rejuvenating one’s scalp and hair. It can also be used to strengthen one’s cuticles. As compared to all the processed coconut oils in the market, it surely without a second thought is a better alternative.
