Hi girls! Today I will be sharing Khadi Herbal Honey and Almond Oil Shampoo Review. Probably there would have been no woman on this planet who wouldn’t have given a thought to the kind of shampoo she should use to get those long, glossy, velvety soft, frizz-free, cascading locks that earn both your appreciation and envy in a glance 🙂 Umpteen number of shampoos lure us towards them by promising those jaw-droppingly luscious locks. In a bid to get that coveted mane, we too fall victim to their claims. Thereby rip both our pockets and our mane and if the results are nowhere desirable, we are told to follow-up with their equally high-priced conditioners and serums.
The first and foremost step is not to bombard our hair with frequent shampooing and then the second is to identify our hair type. Choosing the right kind of shampoo then becomes a cakewalk. Khadi Herbal Honey and Almond Oil Shampoo is specifically crafted for dry hair. Check out my Khadi Herbal Honey and Almond Oil Shampoo Review below and find out how it fared for my dry hair and whether it is worth splurging on it or meant to be chucked away 🙂

What Khadi Herbal Honey and Almond Oil Shampoo claims
Khadi honey and almond shampoo is good for dry and brittle (breakable) hair. It helps in making hair lustrous and manageable.
My experience with Khadi Herbal Honey and Almond Oil Shampoo
Packed in a plastic bottle with a flip-open cap on top and and an extra cap inside which one can remove solely or perforate/pierce to let the shampoo out, the packaging of Khadi Herbal Honey and Almond Oil Shampoo is not fancy but easy to carry, hygienic, sturdy and travel-friendly. It in my opinion, is up to the mark since it performs well on all basic parameters while gauging the packaging 🙂
The texture is neither thick nor runny. It lies in between and the aroma is very mild. It is a cakewalk to spread it on one’s mane as a little amount too produces a good amount of lather (due to the presence of sulphates). Following my old tradition of oiling my hair in a mixture coconut oil (with a few herbs steeped in it), and application of curd in the morning, I washed the curd with a pea-sized amount of Khadi Herbal Honey and Almond Oil Shampoo Review.
I massaged it well for a few minutes to produce a good amount of lather and to enable it to remove all the residues of the oil and the curd properly. Having worked Khadi Herbal Honey and Almond Oil Shampoo well on my hair, I washed it off with cold water (since hot/warm water contributes to frizz-formation) and was done. Yes, I despite having dry hair, did not feel the need to condition my hair. My hair was thoroughly cleansed and felt “a bit” soft too. Now, this is a subjective point. It is possible that it may not soften your hair in the first attempt however, do not get bogged down. Be patient. Maybe your scalp would take time to get used to the shampoo. In terms of shine, there wasn’t any noticeable change but still, the fact that my hair was good to go even without a conditioner (which in other words, means less chemicals) was great news for me 🙂
Since Khadi Herbal Honey and Almond Oil Shampoo Review is specifically crafted for dry hair (read its claims), so I cannot recommend it to other hair types. But for those with really dry hair, a conditioner is a must. However, a major limitation is the presence of hordes of chemicals in it such as- SLES, sulphates, parabens, etc. Barring that, it works well but if you are thinking of using it (that is you have dry hair), do not go overboard with it. Use in minimal quantity and not often 🙂
All in all, Khadi Herbal Honey and Almond Oil Shampoo delivers well on its claims and can be thought of as a good bet by those with dry hair but due to the presence of so many chemicals (parabens, SLES, sulphates, etc.) I won’t recommend using it often since the more you bombard your hair and scalp with chemicals, the grave would be the results in the future.

Wha kind of herbal is it if it has so much parabens? Great review!
What!? A product from khadi can contain chemicals too!! Oh my gosh! Hey nidhal, seems like u were so angry on the shampoo that you literally punched while clicking the swatch ?
@Ankita- I was shocked to see the same. Herbal shampoo to aise likha h jaise koi chemical hi na daala ho and ingredients list pe ek par ek chemical 🙁
@Vidushi- I had to check the swatch to see that 😛 It is disappointing to see such a famous brand fool us by selling chemicals in the name of herbal stuff. Thankfully I have cone across a 100% organic shampoo brand. Review will be up on the blog soon 🙂
