Masoor dal has huge benefits on skin. It is an age old remedy got to know from my grandmothers. Soak a handful of masoor dal overnight and make it into a fine paste next day. Use some drop of honey and “malai” into it and apply it all over your face, neck and hands and leave it to dry or leave it for 20 minutes. Do this before bath and do not use soap that day. Check the glow on your face, it is unbelievable!

Home Remedy No.2 to Glow During Raksha Bandhan

One of the quick and easy home remedy is honey and lemon. Honey moisturizes your skin and lemon helps to reduce spots and darkness of your face. Mix two table spoon of honey and one table spoon of lemon juice, mix it well and apply it all over your face. Keep it for fifteen minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water. This does wonders!

Home Remedy No.3 to Glow During Raksha Bandhan

This home face pack is again and age old tradition when there was no soap. Besan is one of easy available material in any grocery store. Get it! Take 4 table spoon of besan or gram flour and add half cup of milk and blend it well, you can add few drops of honey to it, though it’s optional. Apply it all over face. Leave it to dry. Wash it off. You can do this before bathing. Suddenly you will feel a fair and smooth complexion.

Home Remedy No.4 to Glow During Raksha Bandhan

Fruits can really do wonders. Apply an easy face pack of papaya, orange, banana, cucumber. Take few pieces of papaya, few pieces of banana, three table spoon of orange juice, few pieces of cucumber and three table spoon of milk. Make a fine paste of it and apply on all over your face, neck and hands, this pack will provide all the essential nutrients your face requires. Keep it for twenty minutes then wash it off. Feel the golden glow all over your face!
