How to Get Pink Lips with Beetroot

Hi beauties. In monsoon, we take good care of our skin, specially face. We do facial every month. Bit we always ignore our lips. Applying lipstick and lip balms are not enough. Our lips too need special care. Applying regular lip color, results in faded and pigmented lips. So today I am back with an interesting article about How to Get Pink Lips with Beetroot.

How to Get Pink Lips with Beetroot

We know beetroot is one of the super foods that is easily available in the market. It has anti oxidants, and anti-inflammatory properties. Also, if you have low hemoglobin, doctors recommend having beetroot juice daily. It also helps in formation of blood in the body. So, this beetroot will help us get naturally pink lips in one month. Beetroot Scrub to Get Pink Lips with Beetroot

It is very important to use scrub on lips to get soft lips. Exfoliation helps removing excess dead cells. Take a beet and blend it in a blender to get juice. Mix one tablespoon of beetroot juice with one tablespoon sugar and one teaspoon honey. Sugar should not dissolve. Mix well and gently massage on lips for five minutes. Wash off with cold water. Do this treatment once a week to see visible results. This would drastically reduce the dead skin from lips and make them beautiful.

Beetroot Pack to Get Pink Lips with Beetroot

Next step is beetroot pack. Mix one tablespoon of beetroot juice with milk and mix well. Apply on lips and leave it for twenty minutes. Wash it off with cold water. You will get soft and pink lips. If your lips are dry, you can replace milk with yogurt. Follow this regime once a week and see the results within a month.

Beetroot Serum to Get Pink Lips with Beetroot

This serum also calls for beetroot juice. Mix one tablespoon of beetroot juice with one tablespoon of honey. Mix well and apply on lips for 20 min. then wash off with cold water. This mixture would taste sweet and you would tempt to eat it, but please be careful, let the lips soak into this serum for results. Repeat this once a week. This can be applied daily as well.

All the steps above if done one by one, once a week can give you a naturally pink and beautiful lips.

  • Apart from that simply applying beet juice can also give you red lips. Do this practice daily for at least a month.
  • If fresh beetroot is not easily available, take beetroot, cut into pieces and dry it in sun for a week. Then grind it in a mixer and keep refrigerated. Use as and when required.
  • Apart from above remedies, try to eat beetroot in any form. From my personal experience, I had beetroot juice daily for a week, and my skin was glowing. This is one of the best remedy specially for the brides to be.
