My experience with  Himalaya Herbals Strawberry Shine Lip Balm

Himalaya Herbals Strawberry Shine Lip Balm comes in a really cute pink tube with the outer packaging just as much cute! Unfortunately, I don’t have the cover right now so I can’t show you that. And you don’t have to rub it much, little bit is enough, so one balm goes for at least 2-3 months.

Lip balms are meant to give moisture to lips, therefore improving the condition of chapped lips. But then, I don’t know how many of you noticed, the ‘strawberry shine’ name itself gives a bit of hint that this Himalaya Herbals Strawberry Shine Lip Balm would be working as a lip gloss too. Well, as per my experience, this is what it is, it works as a superb lip gloss with little shine while not making the lips sticky. But it doesn’t do much of the lip balm part. My lips would stop paining but that too for just some hours. No healing of the chaps and cuts, though. I bought Himalaya Herbals Strawberry Shine Lip Balm for the purpose of reducing the chaps on my lips, what it didn’t do, but I never felt that this was a waste as the glossy look it gives brightens up my face. I love lip glosses but it is very hard to find one which isn’t sticky or too much shiny. How good could it be if a lip balm would do the same. Its color is more on the pink side with a hint of red. This color suits me just perfectly!

Himalaya Herbals Strawberry Shine Lip Balm goes with any dress and any type of makeup. So wear it to the shopping mall or the big party, you will look just as elegant! And the smell is good too! But the taste isn’t 😉 Plus, it stays up for hours until you eat or drink something, and moisturizes the lips too.

Overall, Himalaya Herbals Strawberry Shine Lip Balm is useless as a lip balm but wonderful as a lip gloss. A makeup consisting of only this lip balm looks just as beautiful and sturdy as others. Very known to the fact that this doesn’t work in healing chaps and cuts, I would still recommend this to anyone looking for a good lip gloss in the form of a balm! But obviously not to someone looking for something to heal up their lips only.

Bad about Himalaya Herbals Strawberry Shine Lip Balm

  1. I am using this lip balm and love it. Yes it does not do much for chapped lips and need few touch ups through out the day. Its normal flavourless counterpart acts same. Other than this I love to use it mostly because it does not contain mineral oil or petroleum jelly

  2. I totally agree Vidushi. I have used this and it dint help me with regard to my chapped lips either.

  3. Good review dear 🙂 I never use this lip balm
