My experience with Fuschia Handmade Black Currant & Strawberry Passion Lip Balm

Fuschia Handmade Black Currant & Strawberry Passion Lip Balms comes in a tiny tub packaging with a different colored label on the top for each variant. The tub was packaged in a nice, shiny tie-string cloth pouch. Inside the pouch, there were two small cards one for the product claims and other listing the ingredients. I like this unique packaging which gives a handmade, personalized touch to the product. However, as I am mostly used to chapstick like lipbalms, I find the tub packaging slightly inconvenient.

Fuschia Handmade Black Currant Lip Balm has a pleasant fruity flavor and has a thick, waxy texture. As its very cold here in Bangalore, it hardens up and when I scoop it, it tends to break into tiny particles. Now I don’t mind this as it feels like a lip scrub :D. On massaging my lips, it melts and moisturizes lips deeply and helps to repair chapped lips. I guess if you are staying in other places, the lip balm won’t harden so much as I have taken it to my hometown in Chennai and the consistency was perfect there. One major drawback that I faced was, though it moisturizes very well and repair the lips, the staying power is very less. It hardly lasts for 2 hours and it doesn’t survive even a sip of water. I feel it will be good for normal lips. But for extremely, dry lips, a lip balm with more staying power is needed.

Fuschia Handmade Strawberry Passion Lip Balm Review?is tinted and gives a nice, natural, pink color to lips. I have used many tinted lip balms from Nivea, but this tint is deeper and brighter, almost close to a lipstick. Its perfect for office wear when you want a light color but don’t want to use a lipstick. This is less moisturizing than the blackcurrant variant and if you have chapped lips, it doesn’t heal them. I love this mainly for the beautiful color it provides. I prefer using this in daytime for office and the blackcurrant variant at nights for intense moisturization.

Overall, Fuschia Handmade Black Currant & Strawberry Passion Lip Balms are amazing lip balms formulated with all natural ingredients. Just looking at the ingredients list, there are so many skin-friendly natural oils and butters. Though the price is a little higher, it is free from all harsh chemicals. However the above variants are not for extremely dry and chapped lips. Maybe you need to try some other variants for them.

  1. The only problem with beeswax lip balm is that they harden up with temperature. GReat product and nice detailed review

  2. I would live to try the pink one.. great find 🙂

    • Yes, Juthika. The pink one is very well pigmented. Just a small quantity imparts a nice color. So it will last for a long time…
