Well, it is always convenient to go for a face clean up in a parlour and tempting too. Who does not like pampering!!  However, we should give a thought that after all the parlours also use a lot of products that are laden with a lot and lots of chemicals and it is not a very economical option to go for weekly clean up sessions in parlours, right? We already apply a lot of products on our skin like sunscreens, serums, make up that are quite inevitable when you are a working lady. So, at least when you want to go for a face clean up or I would prefer calling it a skin detox regimen, you should try and go for natural ingredients. Step to do Face Clean up at Home using Natural Ingredients

  1. Start with cleaning your face using a clean cotton ball dipped in cool, raw milk.
  2. Next, comes toning. You may use coconut water, Rose water, cucumber juice or cooled Green tea.
  3. If you have an oily skin and like using astringents then Using freshly squeezed ginger juice diluted with water really helps.
  4. Moisturise using freshly squeezed Aloe Vera-gel.

Natural way of Scrubbing/ exfoliating

A very simple and easy way is to use a mixture made out of Besan or gram flour and cool curd. Besan has excellent exfoliating qualities without being too harsh on facial skin.  Also, besan is said to remove excess oils and reduce facial hair growth when used regularly.

Natural Anti ageing Face pack

A face pack made out of coffee granules and milk has great anti oxidant properties and helps in removing tanning too.

Natural way to remove Blackhead 

Use salt granules in aloe Vera gel to scrub your blackheads.

Natural way of Bleach

This is not new. Freshly squeezed Lemon juice is a great , natural bleach. However, it might sting sensitive skin bad. So, a milder option is to use Orange juice on sun exposed areas.

Natural way to Cool Skin burnt skin

Use a mix of cucumber juice and sandalwood powder.

All natural Massage cream

Use extra virgin olive oil as a massaging cream for your skin.

Natural way to Acne reducing mask       

Apply pure honey on your face on slightly moistened face. Honey would release a gas called hydrogen peroxide that cleanses facial pores naturally and brings all the debris and impurities to surface. Following this, apply a Multani mitti face pack.

Natural AHA Facial peel to get rid of blemishes

Mix equal parts of Orange juice and  Pineapple juice and use this fluid as a face mask.

Natural Lip scrub

Very easy again. Use butter or ghee as a base and add sugar granules to exfoliate dry, chapped lips.

Natural pack  to Cooling Eye area

This is basically to reduce dark-circles. Grate half a potato and squeeze out it’s juices mix with lemon juice. Apply this in the under eye area.

Apart from all this try to eat lots of fresh fruits and salads on weekends, avoid junk food and keep sipping through coconut water, green tea, ginger tea and buttermilk through the day. Also, warm water with juice of half a lemon and honey to flush out the toxins from your system, first thing in the morning. Hope you found the article useful.
