Let’s talk about base makeup first. I applied the Lakme 9 to 5 CC Color Transform Cream in bronze shade as my base. Its a white colored cream, but adapts to my skin tone beautifully. It hydrates the skin and is particularly great for dry skin. On top of this, I used Geri G Innocent Foundation which is one of my all time favorite. It is easy to blend and when applied on top of a base, it gives a flawless complexion. Next I applied LOreal Paris True Match Concealer to cover up my spots and dark circles. Finally I sealed my base with L’Oreal Mat Magique All-In-One Matte Transforming Powder.
Base makeup is done and now its time to highlight my eyes. First I filled up my brows with a brown eye shadow from Maybelline the Nudes Eyeshadow Palette. This is a very important step of eye makeup that is often ignored. Eye makeup is never complete without neatly done eyebrows. Moving on, I used a beige colored neutral eye shadow from Sleek Makeup Eye shadow Pallet – Oh ho so special as my base. On top of that, I applied a shimmery grey shadow from the same palette. It is a very pigmented shade, so apply it gently under the crease line. For my crease line, I have chosen a matte brown shadow which I have used as my blending shade as well and used the same shade on the outer corners of my eyes. Again I went back to the shimmery grey shade (that I used earlier under my crease line) to apply it just under my lower lash line.
On the inner corners of my eyes, I applied a peachy pink shade from Maybelline the Nudes Eyeshadow Palette to make my eyes look fresh and more open. To line my eyes, I used Blue Heaven Sketch Eyeliner. Then I curled my lashes and applied VLCC Enchanting Eyes Kajal on my lower lash line. This is one of my favorite kajals. I finished off my eye makeup with generous coats of Maybelline The Magnum Barbie Mascara. It is long lasting and just perfect for parties or celebration where you need a mascara that will hold up your lashes for a long time.
Its time for blush and highlighter. This time I used my highlighter and blush from Sleek Makeup highlighter, contour & Blush Pallet. The highlighter is very pigmented, so I applied very little amount on my cheek bones, forehead, nose bridge and on my cupid bows. The blush that comes in this palette has a beautiful coral-pink shade. It looks great on Indian skin tone. I applied a little amount of blush as again its quite pigmented like the highlighter.
Lipstick and Accessories
Time to round up my makeup look with a matching lipstick. Since its an Easy Bright, Bold Makeup Look, so choose a bright lipstick shade. Here I have used Sugar Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick in the shade ‘Marry Poppins’ on my lips. Its a gorgeous fuchsia shade and instantly brighten up the entire face. No wonder, its one of my most favorite lipstick.
Don’t forget to accessorize a bit to take your makeup look to next level and that’s it girls! Easy Bright, Bold Makeup Look for Fun Mood is complete.
