Hello girlies! Kiski Talvar Par Sir Rakhu Ye Bata Do Mujhe, Ishq Karna Agar Khata Hai Toh Saza Do Mujhe-this is one of the best dialogues from Bajirao Mastani. Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra and Ranveer Singh starrer movie Bajirao Mastani is an upcoming historical Romantic movie. As the film focuses on the romance between Bajirao and Mastani aka Deepika Padukone, her look in the movie has been worked upon with mind boggling details. From Royal Hyderabadi inspired multilayered lehengas to her antique jewellery to equally captivating makeup, the response to Deepika Padukones look had to be overwhelming without any doubt.
Deepika Padukone’s Look in Bajirao Mastani – Look 1
If one turns the pages of history, it says that Mastani had some Hyderabad Nizam connection. Her looks in the movie is strongly inspired by the royal Hyderabadi designs. In the first look she is seen wearing a white multi layered gown and wrapped around in a tri- color stripped shawl and a golden net dupatta to cover her head. Royal women did not believe in skin show and covered their head in order to show respect. This kind of color combination can be picked for any kind of daytime event. The highlight of this look is that even after such detailing, it does not look overdone. Mastani is wearing a kundan work jhoomar and Latkan on her nose while her makeup consists of dark burgundy lips and mineral finish for the rest of the face.

Deepika Padukone’s Look in Bajirao Mastani – Deewani Mastani Song
In the Deewani Mastani song Deepika Padukone aka Mastani is seen dancing gracefully before Ranveer Singh (Bajirao) and there is an intense look in her face. A kind of pain and jealousy in love is what her expressions are trying to portray. Mastani is wearing her best outfit in this song as she is dressed in a bronze-golden anarkali shaped gown teamed along a golden turban. The highlight of this look is her turban which has gold and gemstones studded on it. Her fan shaped nose piece and jhoomar is something which adds to her mesmerizing beauty. This particular look stands out among all other looks because of the irresistibly magnificent accessories.

The way sanjay leela bhansali plays with colours in the picturization of his movies is incredible. Ramleela was a visual montage with so many instances of a single colour being used to adorn the scene. Even in BM, the way the Deewani-Mastani song has been shot in one single volour- golden makes it look so lavish!
